Brilliant service from Gatechange took my car in with a “noise” coming from the front wheel at 2pm they diagnosed, fixed and had it ready 2 hours later!!!! Amazing service

My power steering belt snapped, luckily enough near to the garage. I expected at least a 2 day wait but the guys were absolutely brilliant and fixed it on the same day. Was so impressed we are going to use them later this month. Thank you so much guys - very impressed

Wonderful friendly service. My elderly mother has had low tyre pressure and on another occasion, her oil warning light came on. She popped into the garage where she was assisted quickly for little or no charge.

Absolutely spot on. Quick, professional and fair price and very courteous. After changing my oil/filters etc........they checked to see if my tyres needed changing, they didn’t! Still have a couple thousand miles tread left all round. This after being told by a national tyre company that they needed changing straight away!! I would recommend this garage no problem. Very professional. Had MOTs and work done on the cars in the past. Trustworthy advise. On occasions they have quoted for work that I have asked for but when viewing the car they have advised it doesn't need doing yet.

My daughter took her 2005 car there for her first MOT. The staff were honest, skilled and helpful. The inspection found a broken coil spring, worn wiper blades and broken bulb. They also Waxoyled the underside to slow down corrosion. The repairs were performed efficiently and the price was good value. She would happily use Gate Change again. Recommended.

An unscheduled 🙄 dent in my poor car was kindly dealt with in a few moments by Darren. Despite the workshop always being so busy. Can't fault them. Thank you. Brigid

Took my vehicle in there the other day for MOT after being recommended by local scout leaders.

Garage was very good, left the car with them whilst I went swimming, came back and the MOT was all complete.

Car passed it's MOT, garage were helpful about the various advisories as well, Noticed on the third sheet originally the car had failed due to headlamps being too high, but then passed - seems they must have corrected that for me (kind of explains why people were see at me at night!), garage didn't mention anything about this or charge for the minor correction which was very good of them.

Certainly will be taking the car back there in future.

Since first going there have been back numerous times with my vehicle, had my vehicle MOT'd a few times now with them. Still very good, have helped me numerous times and noticed numerous safety issues at times with the vehicle that has kept me safe on the road, last one they noticed was a ball joint about to fall off (that could have been a bit of a disaster). Owner does sometimes tell it like it is, like when the ball joint was going I asked him what will happen and he very bluntly put it that the wheel will fall off and I'll crash and die - I was more than happy to just know the wheel would fall off to realise it wasn't a good idea to drive the vehicle!

But aside from that the garage is very good, all the staff there certainly know what they are doing and they do it well!

Went in there for a clutch change the other day, left the car with them for a few days whilst I was working away, it was booked in for the clutch to be changed on Monday. They were very good, made sure the car was ready to go by the end of Monday so I could get back home. Also even told us that the price they'd initially quoted was actually lower because it took them less time and the clutch cost them less. How many garages do you know that are this honest with their customers?? First class service, and now the car is driving like a dream with the new clutch.

Darren Maybury and his team there are absolute stars and an absolute credit to the garage profession.

Fitted my bike in for an MOT at short notice and did a very fair job of checking it over, quickly rectifying a misaligned headlamp so it could pass the test. I'd recommend this garage on that basis.

Yesterday as I started on way back to M25 land, my car reported a brake light failure. I dropped in to the garage. Within 15 minutes I was on my way again. The mechanic had also suggested replacing a flasher bulb which was losing its colour. £2.50 for the bulbs, he said. I gave him a fiver. I should have given him more. Sorry.

Had my motorcycle MOT there the last couple of years, very friendly helpful.
