im so happy to have chi yip market in altrincham!!!
the value here is amazing, 69p for noodles & £4.70 for a medium boba- cheaper than smooch and insanely better quality😄
the service is 10/10 with kind & patient staff- theres a fridge/freezer section alongside dry foods and ingredients.

A Great selection of groceries and ingredients to cook Chinese cuisines. Would love to see more Korean ingredients in larger size :) The frozen selections such as dim sum , dumplings and desserts are of good variety. The chilled aisles have fresh produce such as vegetables and tofu. They also have fresh roast meat and very delicious baked buns. A taste of home close to home.

Great to have a Chi Yip Market in Altrincham. Everything you need is there. Amazing team behind the brand and quality food. Loved that there’s a good boba tea shop inside along with the traditional bakery & roasted meats. I get all my hot pot items from here. Love it ❤.

Altrincham Chinese supermarket, where you can find bubble tea, roasting ducks and Hong Kong style bakery.

Went in around 18:00, was greeted by lovely staff who made me feel welcome. Amazing atmosphere and incredibly busy for a first day opening which has been much anticipated since the closure of Tim Hortons. Lots of selection of many Asian groceries including boba teas and more ! Lady on the till was lovely & will definitely come again !!

the Taro ice cream was amazing! there are little taster spoons so you can ask to have a dabble before you buy too!

There's a Chinese supermarket on Oxford Rd near Whitworth Park which I usually go to, but staff there are really rude (don't even talk or look up from their mobile phones when serving), I've been overcharged, and it's full of students, so I'm really pleased this shop's opened up in Alty.
Chi Yip so far appears to have the brands and products that I like, the staff are friendly and there's no minimum charge for card payments. Been in twice already this week.

Save the long drive to big store at Middleton. Price is reasonable and not crazy like other small Chinese store at nearby town. 25 pounds for a whole roast duck. Finally got a Tesco express like Chinese supermarket in our favorite town in Manchester. Well done!

Great handy Asian mini market great for stocking up on noodle snacks dim sum dumplings the list is endless. With it’s bakery for fresh bao’s to getting roast meats like char Siu and roast duck what a little gem this place is bonus it has its in store Sip Cha which serves East Asian inspire ice cream to Taiwan boba teas and egg bubble waffles. #IYKYK. Prime location in the centre on Altrincham so no need to trek out to Manchester City centre for my groceries need. Lovely staff always happy to help.

Good selection of products. Boba Tea reminded me of Hong Kong, by far the best in the UK I've been to!

Great place to stock up on Oriental groceries. Good selection and reasonable prices. A welcome addition to Altrincham town centre.
