Friends of QMC

This is a great Charity shop, I love it. There are so many bargains to buy, I have to set myself a budget!! The volunteers are kind and friendly and must work really hard to keep it looking so well stocked and clean.
I have just joined as a volunteer and am amazed at the generosity of the public with all the donations they give. Its so busy and lively when customers come in.
There is a plaque on the wall to announce where the money goes so it is good to know that we all play a part in fundraising by buying and selling!

I have had a very different experience to others that have reviewed this charity shop. Have they been visiting the same place? I’ve always been welcomed with a hello and a smile. The place is organised, tidy, and clean. I’ve bought so many quality items at very reasonable prices, and it’s wonderful to know that the proceeds are going to a wonderful cause. A massive thank you to all the volunteers without whom the shop would not be able to keep running, and to the generous Keyworth community who keep donating.

Vile! Volunteers are rude, older ladies who openly discuss other staff and customers in the shop!
Items of bric a brac are displayed on the floor - I accidentally knocked a large plate which was on a plate stand on the floor - a member of staff told me I was lucky I had not broken it or I would have been made to pay for it !! NO SOCIAL DISTANCING- max 2 customers in shop - however ,i was told by staff that it was ok and don't be silly- when there were 5 customers in shop. AVOID.

Not the friendlist place to donate to not that I would expect a massive fuss but at least a thank you instead of being glared at as I handed a bag in. The lady didn't even take it from me just stood as I held it in mid air to which I placed on the counter. Seems to be the local busy bodies of the village I'll save my items and visit Banardos in West Bridgford to donate my child's items they are always so greatful!

Volunteers are miserable and act like you are a terrible person for giving to charity, will not be coming back.
