Gurney's is unsurpassed in many ways, the fish always glistens with freshness, huge choice, the staff are so professional & switched on, engaging. The whole experience is one of life's joys. I been a regular here for many years and long may it continue.

Lovely shop, get there early if you want the full selection of fish. One of the only fish shops I've been to that doesn't smell of fish, it's that fresh! We had a wild seabass which was perfectly filleted and portioned for us. The brown shrimp are amazing. Highly recommended, just remember that fresh fish is not cheap, but what you get is top quality

Fresh fish and shellfish. Friendly helpful staff. Fair prices. My regular fare are the dressed Cromer crab and the delicious kiln roast salmon. And recently the fresh Samphire.

Whenever I’m in Norfolk I have to get some seafood from gurneys, it’s not the cheapest but the quality and variety in outstanding. Smoked eel is one of the greatest things to come out of the sea

Unbelievably delicious describes everything we've ever had from here. On Saturday we ordered lobster, crab, and kiln smoked salmon. It was all outstanding. Today I bought smoked salmon, crab, pate and smoked prawns. Again, all top quality. I wish I lived closer and could visit more often. I can't recommend Gurneys highly enough.

This is a gem of a place. If you want a wide selection of spanking fresh fish and seafood at sensible prices, this is the place for you. It is a must for any serious Foodie. Staff are great, helpful and knowledgeable. The best indicator of freshness is the fact that you walk in and it doesn't smell of fish. Having just returned from living in Sydney, NSW we know all about fresh fish from the Sydney Fish market - This place is a welcome find to make up for that locally.

Superb. Their gleaming daily display of perfectly fresh fish and crustaceans is destination shopping for foodies. Try their cooked lobster and taste heaven. Also, their homemade aioli and green sauces are delicious. The deli upstairs is pricey but inviting enough to make you want to take out a second mortgage. You won't want to leave Norfolk.

A fabulous fish shop with a wide range of fresh and smoked fish, as well as lots of other fishy treats. Fabulous range of home-made patés too. There's a great deli upstairs, so it's a real one-stop shop. Definitely worth a visit and very highly recommended

I googled good fishmongers in Norfolk and Gurneys came up in the results. Visited today and it was very busy. There is so much selection, I could and would have spent loads if I lived close. I bought lobster, which they gladly dressed for me, and white crab meat. Both were beautifully delicious. I am so disappointed that I live so far away from this shop. It is well worth a visit, and, by the way, their dill mayonnaise is absolutely divine!

A far cry from the hole in the wall at Brancaster where it all began, but the same charming welcome and wonderful fish, shellfish and things made from them. Very fair prices and everything delicious and fresh. With humble pie upstairs, everything you need for top cuisine even if you have no skills in the kitchen. A total delight

Really nice guys and completely quality fish.

Excellent fishmonger that offers high quality fish and seafood. Gurneys make their own patês and fish cakes which are equally as delicious and when in season, samphire too. The staff are friendly and very knowledgeable and have always been willing to advise on getting the best out of what you choose. Though there are cheaper shops in the area, you really do get what you pay for.

What a great fish shop and brilliant service, bought my lobster early and as i was on a motorbike they kept it for me a few hours till ready to go home and with a few more bits in the bag they gave me a bag of ice and i got it home still absolutely freezing cold after a 3 hour journey, highly recommended.

I live in Burnham Market full time and always get fresh mussels and other seafood from here. Always friendly, always good.

This is a great shop with a very good range of quality fish and smoked deli products and its an asset for the village, it just needs the service staff to lighten up a bit....its not much of a jovial shopping experience and it could be if there were a few more smiles.
