These are nice people to deal with. They provided outstanding customer service, by way of very effectively setting up smart watches on my phone thereby, allowing me to quickly gain the data I was seeking.

I went here at the weekend to sell an old MacBook and was in and out in 15 minutes! I hadn’t used CEX in 10 years but they signed me up with a new account, inspected my product and I left with them for testing. No ‘tyre kicking’ or haggling etc. They rang me the same day to confirm that my product had passed all tests and the money was in my account the next day.

The systems, processes that they now have in place are excellent, but their best asset is their staff. Special mention to Jamie who I dealt with who was new (I wouldn’t have known unless he told me) but all their staff were friendly with expert knowledge.

Will definitely be using CEX Altrincham again!

One of my favourite places to go to. I always love looking at the new selections every couple of days. The shelf of recommendations of the staff is very clever and I like seeing opinions. I always ask for recommendations and always get good ones so the staff are very friendly. The prices are quite nice especially in the video games. I love the retro selection too.

very helpful staff in sorting out a problem for me.gas a good range of stock covering cd' s,DVD' s,games and electronic devices.not as big as the shop in the arndale and probably a bit more hit and miss if your looking for something in particular.

Was helped by a staff member, trying to find something for a friends birthday. Staff member was super friendly and eager to help, she was very knowledgeable and took time to help me out which is great because I’m autistic and sometimes take longer to understand certain things. She was very sweet and kind! Her name was Nari or Navi, might be completely wrong on that. Thankyou!

Great place to find second hand electronics, games or videos cheap

I have purchased second hand mobile phones from here and plenty of DVD'S. Loads of pre loved tech, gadgets and computer games are also available. Great store.

Great items at bargain prices, no worries either as items come with a 2 year warranty. Win win 😉 staff are friendly and always willing to help and advise. One off my first stops when out shopping these days.

Great place to get your games and gadgets. Pro tip - go through your drawers for old stuff before visiting, you will save a lot, declutter and reduce waste at the same time. Thanks to the lady manager (sorry didn't get your name) who dug out an older gfx card for me as I didn't have the £000s needed for the latest and greatest!

Found the Staff (Nicky & Marta) very knowledgeable and helpful with both technical advice on equipment and games. It's a great place to go for honest advice and a very pleasant experience. We went back to Nicky after to some superb advice 18 months ago and a 'big' purchase.
She is superb (an expert in her field perhaps) and a treat to deal with!
Simply amazing for us non-techies who just want a friendly, unprejudiced human touch. The sort of thing you don't get online. We'll be back again no doubt! ***** Recommend 100%

Absolutely love the store they are amazing I've recently purchased some of the hardest game and a dvd to find which are no longer available anymore need for speed most wanted xbox 360 05 version and mcvicar dvd it's wasn't delivered by cex itself I did get delivered to the incorrect address cex have contacted me to resolve this issue and they are reordering them which is a massive bonus for me I'd like to state its wasn't cexs mistaken it's completely royalmail responsibility to fulfil the postage of the items

The staff at Cex are so polite and eager to help, it is a pleasure to go in and shop there. They were knowledgeable and dealt with my purchases and enquiries in a very efficient manner so I was not kept waiting for a long period of time. Highly recommended.

Its a great little shop for games and for cheap dvds. Also if you have a taste for retro games, they tend to have a small section for the classics.

Brilliant customer service while picking up a PS5, offered to either put it in another plain box to hide what it was or pull my car into the loading bay incase anyone decided they wanted it from me.

Son took some old games in to exchange and received £81 cash...he was thrilled. The guy who served us was really polite and kind.
