The Pickled Village is a lovely cafe. Excellent service, food and coffee. Good value for money.

We visited today for a late lunch - the hospitality was amazing! We were welcomed by a very cheery gentleman who provided some giggles for our kid :)

They were very accommodating and provided a highchair for our little one.

The food was delicious and good value for money.

Lovely surroundings, very friendly staff, so peaceful a place, great food. Wish I had been sooner. The shop is a foodie's treasure trove.

Lovely place with delicious home made pastries and cakes, including gluten free options. Great customer service from the very considerate shop assistant, possibly owner. Would definitely go back again. Really nice place.

First timer to the store. Impressive range on offer from jars of Pickled Village chutney to freshly baked goods and a range of cheeses. Stopped in to get a few jars of aforementioned chutney and ended up with loads more. I am vegan and there were many suitable for me to choose from. Owner was lovely and friendly and helpful with selection. The one I pictured is wonderfully tasty and very hot 🔥 if that's what you like. I will most definitely be returning very soon. Highly recommend a visit.

Riding from Melton Mowbray to Cambridge this was one of only a few village shops I passed. As well as local produce they also sell drinks, hot & cold snacks, etc. Perfect for refuelling on a winter bike ride. The lady serving was very cheerful and helpful.

Lovely hidden gem! Stopped for coffee at lunchtime but decided to try some tapas as well. It was excellent and very well priced. Small covered courtyard with 5 tables plus half a dozen more tables in the ylrear garden area. Child and dog friendly.

Visited to grab some late lunch. Homemade sausage roll excellent, grabbed a jar of Piccalilli, yum 😋

Wasn't expecting to find such a lovely little shop like this one, we was greeted with a lady who was keen to give us generous samples of all of the jams/chutneys that we fancied, explaining that they are all handmade, they was all so delicious and if money grew on trees i wouldnt hesitste to buy everything in the shop! Loved the poppadom chutney, sloe gin jam and lemon curd thoroughly!!! Will be back soon!

I just love this little cafe, it is my go to for the Oundle area. Great food and coffee and a lovely atmosphere. The cakes are amazing and it’s also a good place to buy thoughtful high end gifts. It’s a real treat, looking forward to my next visit.

We cycled to the stores looking for afternoon cake and a drink. There was an impressive display of cakes in the store. I had an orange and polenta cake and my partner a coffee and walnut cake. They were both moist and delicious, washed down with a bottle of beer. The courtyard was lovely, reminiscent of a Mediterranean cafe, with passion fruit and grape vines. The Tapas menu looked nice, will definitely visit again and try some of those.

Stopped here yesterday for a coffee and a snack with a fellow cyclist. Fabulous food ( scrambled eggs on granary) and first class service. Will definitely come back again.

Great place for traditional food and pickles as well as a eating area that has a varied menu that serves anything from breakfasts to lunches, we dined there and I forgot to leave a tip, I will make amends next visit

I went there for 'The Pickled Village' range having been given some for Christmas. Well worth a visit.

Just watch your head going in, the doorway and ceiling just inside are very low.

Absolutely lovely. Homemade produce,cakes,jams,chutneys etc. Beautiful views from the outside seating area which boasts lap blankets to keep you warm as you induge. So thoughtful, a real gem xx
