I've come in here multiple times to find very specific things and have always found it. Fantastic store!

I had a good experience, though I am a red-headed white lady from the US -so that might make a difference. Store had most things I needed from kitchen gadgets to hardware items. Staff was friendly and helpful in finding things and answering questions.

Very handy store, can find pretty much anything you would need in a house at super low price. Staff is nice and helpful

Almost all the essential items available on cheaper rate please make sure that the quality of the products will not be top class which makes sense.

I like this shop, not just because it's not too far away from us. They have a huge range of household stuff, DIY tools and materials and lots of other items. Their prices are quite fair also.
The shop assistants always polite and helpful. The shop is very clean and well organised.

They offer souvenirs for a fraction of the prices at all the gift shops on the Royal Mile! Imagine if I actually lived here, I would've visited this store every other day. They have everything you can possibly think of for a discounted price.

Stocks most gadgets such as adaptors etc. also stationery and toys. Photocopying is the cheapest in town at 10p per sheet for A4 black and white.

Medium-sized store conveniently located in central part of Old Town, a few steps from festival theater and Old College at Univ of Edinburgh. Very well-stocked with all types of household items/tools/small appliances/accessories. Can find nearly any kind of small item you need. Prompt, friendly, efficient service. Conducive to long periods browsing for those thinking they might find something they have been needing to get but often forget to pick up.

Each pound matters and Poundsavers is a blessing to me. Such a huge variety at such competitive prices.... unbelievable!

Always buy there the souvenirs to take Back Home, cheaper than other shops

They have wide range of good quality items, everything you can think of you will find it, starting from Cutlery, travel bags, ending with cotton pads.

Uni student looking to outfit your flat? Nearly everything we needed was right here. I wouldn't buy a computer here, but it's definitely the best value for getting all those plates, utensils, school supplies, etc.

Great for buying household items and reasonably priced too.

I went to the Edinburgh bargain stores for WD 40 price £3. Then I went to poundsavers ot my WD 40 for 1.8. That is an example of some the prices from the 2 stores. I have always found the staff very friendly and welcoming.

Pretty good for cheap tools like screw drivers, soldering irons, clothslines, cookware etc. Staff are fairly friendly, and it's my go to for most DIY tools and kitchenware.
