Fresh fish plaice! Great for all your fishy needs and a deli counter too. Monkfish, prawns, lemon sole and scallops plus others varieties too. They also do platters to order, shop is wheelchair accessible. Cash or contactless payments. The only fresh fish shop in the area besides the battered fish kind.

I have to say the Heron family are something else, absolute animals. They are true master baiters 🎣👍

But anyways to the instore experience. As soon as. I walked in a large male with grey hair caressed my rectal area. Then, the male told me that the sushi slaps like he beats his wife 🫡👍😮.

Now to the staff. I was served by Sharon Heron. I am aware she is one of the owners. She offered me a free mackerel sample with TJH hair strand’s infused inside. I thought this was a lovely gesture and really welcomes the customer. I was also offered the brazen bull method by another mos but I had to decline even though it was a hot deal 😉.

The owners are beautiful human beings. And the mascot fyne fish fin is very submissive.

We had the pleasure of eating at the pop up fish restaurant at Fyne Fish tonight , hosted by Alex and partner Sarah, a 4 course fish meal starting with oyster followed by smoked haddock tart, baked salmon with cream, salsa Verde and beetroot , with delicious cheesecake to finish.
This was a culinary delight and experience. We will book again for the next one, forgot to say about the paired wine

Simply great customer service and good quality seafood, bought trourt, scallops and squid, had a wonderful meal

Amazing seafood. Had a wonderful platter for New Year’s Eve. A great selection from shrimps to lobster claw. Particularly liked the roll mop herring, nice sweet flavour. Defiantly recommend.

Simply the best fish mongers ive ever visited! They have the best seafood salad, the tastiest crab meat and sushi grade fish to die for! If im traveling down past the Lake District I always make a point to stop by and stock up.

Although I am not from Cockermouth I have bought fish from Fyne Fish several times. With an interesting selection the fish we purchased has always been super fresh and well prepared! Coupled with the fact the staff have always being friendly and helpful I would whole heartedly recommended these guy's and give them 5 stars.

I wanted a light lunch of several tapas style ingredients. The staff were knowledgeable, skilled and obliging.The range of products was amazing. I thoroughly recommend this place..

Just had my fish delivery this morning on time and as always superb quality people may seem to think that they are expensive but in my eyes for this awesome produce it's not.
