The Period House Shop

This store is amazing, even if you don't need any period features for your home you should most definitely visit this shop. The owner, Simon, is a fascinating person with great stories to tell about the shop and the local area, very friendly and happy to tell you about the shop's history. It is most definitely well worth a visit. If you're in Ludlow then go and visit Simon's shop.

Fantastic shop, although I have lived in Ludlow many years and admired their stock through the window many times, today was my first visit. Fantastic customer service today from Julie and Simon, so friendly and polite and very helpful. And also when I rang yesterday to check I could come in today, I spoke to a lovely lady who I think was Annabel.

We stumbled across Holloway's on a trip to Ludlow recently. They have a beautiful collection. A great selection of filament bulbs, hand made lamp shades with bold prints, quirky coasters, beautiful tableware and accessories - all within a shop that has a very classic feel. Loved the colours and styling. Wish I could've bought half the items in the shop!

Great shop, had a very enjoyable noisey around, left with a lighter wallet, but had a nice chap with the very pleasant owner Simon, and left with a vintage sony radio.

The kind of amazing shop that has sadly died out in many places, this shop has an amazing array of old hardware for doors and windows, light fittings, bolts and the like - mostly original brass!
Worth a look just for the impression of the place.

An emporium of exciting bits for your house, paint, lampshades, door handles lots of choice. Also rugs, bathroom bits, candles etc etc well worth a visit.

Lovely place to visit, browse and maybe buy things. Appears to be a lovely old hardware shop, it is that, but also sells amazing lights and other stuff.

First class ironmongers with an adjoining, & inspirational, interior design shop. Fantastic owners/staff, above & beyond customer service.

Lovely ironmonger/light/homeware/gift shop full of lovely novel items at very reasonable prices really very impressed and lovely friendly staff definately worth a visit

Omg, it's like taking a step back in time. Could have spent hours in here, if you're into retro and nostalgia or just trying to recreate a bygone era, look no further, superb. A total one-off.
