Awesome little cafe away from the main street. It's just a little up the main street and You'll see the prominent Yellow Bicycle. My brother and I were walking up that street to look for a lunch option and we were hoping not to have to do Subway for lunch.

We took a look at the menu at the window and we saw a Campfire Pan dish that seemed intriguing. We were there just after the lunch rush and it smelled amazing so we decided to pop in to try it out.

We each got the Campfire Pan with sausage and it came in a small saucepan with thick slabs of artisanal bread and a nice ramekin of delicious butter. While the butter was amazing to have with the bread, the real star is the pan with a delectable mix of beans, sausage, tomatoes topped with an egg and charred just a bit for texture and flavour. Dipping the bread in that saucy goodness was the best way to engulf the bread and I found excuses to get as much of the butter on the bread as well because it was just that good.

We also got the spiced potatoes - forgot what it was called unfortunately. It got scarfed down pretty quickly between us as it was delicious.

The Campfire Pan is a fan favourite for 8 years so definitely worth a try!

Great lunch from an extensive menu with daily specials on offer too.
Food is cooked and prepared to order so it's not instant but well worth the wait.
Service was good.
Thoroughly recommend a visit.

Lovely little cafe - their baker, Rhe, is fabulous! Her as a person as well as her stunning cakes. It was pure luck that I stumbled across her business page (shared by the cafe) - so after being let down by two other bakers, Rhe literally came to my rescue! She is an absolute magician with the deadline she had to create my daughter's first birthday cake (especially with it being so close to Christmas!). She is an extremely professional, kind and talented individual. The cake was absolutely exquisite (she nailed the brief!) - it immediately brought me to tears when I collected it. After getting it safely home and having a closer look - the attention to detail was impeccable and it was evidently made with so much love and passion. It was a HUGE hit with my family who have already started spreading the word about her business as well as wanting to use her for other, upcoming occasions.

I cannot recommend Rhe enough for anyone seeking not just a cake, but a work of delicious, edible art. She as a person radiates warmth and will do everything in her power to create the perfect cake for you. Thank you, Rhe, for making my daughter's first birthday unforgettable - you are an exceptional baker and I will be returning! Xx

Walked in by accident as we were a bit peckish and liked one of the specials advertised in the window. What an absolute find !

The special of lamb neck medallions cooked perfectly pink was just gorgeous, lovingly placed on a bed of salad and a thick slice of toasted bread, cooked by the team that morning.

The rest of the menu was fantastic - a mix of traditional breakfast for the early comers and a super menu of campfire classics (I had the smoked haddock), sandwiches, fresh hash brown mix ups and bowl of mash-based mix ups, all with local Dorset produce and washed down with some locally roasted coffee.

This is all cooked with love and good cheer in full view by the manager, who told me he has been at this site for 10 years. We had a good chat about food and our likes and dislikes. I loved his approach - sticking with good combinations of familiar local ingredients with the odd twist. The rest of his serving team was friendly and efficient and there was a real banter going on - the sort that is experienced only in happy places of work. Absolutely a must visit if you are hungry.

So, if you thought you never had a reason to go to Blandford Forum, you do now.

If you are looking for a meal with a difference, then this is the place to eat. Small and rustic but warm and friendly. A variety of options on the menu for all tastes and dietary preferences. Staff all engaging and the head honcho busy at the stove. I had a campfire 🔥 breakfast pan. Coffee was good too. Thoroughly enjoyed our food and would recommend. Thank you

Visited the yellow bicycle after a recommendation from a friend and I must say it did not disappoint! Large menu with plenty to choose from, so something for everyone. And the food itself was incredible! Very reasonably priced too! Lovely staff who make it very inviting and a lovely all around vibe. Hands down the best cafe experience I’ve ever had! Will be back soon.

So was looking around the area for some lunch and due to what was a really intriguing and trendy looking menu, I decided to eat here and it for sure didn't disappoint.

If you love a hot chocolate it's also well worth getting with so many different options and they taste great.

The food was delicious and I remember having a bread boat filled with smoked mackerel, spinach and cheese from memory and had to try it as never had anything like that before. Also my accomplice enjoyed his food very much too.

Staff were polite and although busy and the order did take time it was well worth the wait and great value for money. I would recommend it to anyone and would definitely eat here again.

A crowd of 11 of us descended on this place on a Tuesday morning looking for breakfast, we had a bit of a wait as so many of us but the food was glorious, beautifully presented an lovely coffees/drinks too. Thankyou for putting up with our large group with no notice, I’ll certainly be back if we’re in the area again!

I've lived in Blandford on & off since 1976. I love food! However I really love a breakfast! I've never had a full English cooked breakfast this exacting, it was, in my opinion simply outstanding, fresh produce, clearly well sourced ingredients; this will now become a permanent fixture as our guilty pleasure, luckily enough, we only live on Whitecliff Mill Street around the corner. Thankyou Steve, obviously one can see you have won awards for your chef' mastery.

Thankyou so much!

Fantastic place, very fine tea a perfect place to stop on a bike ride. The owner was very chatty and lovely. Really nice talking about bikes and routes around the area.
The lunches looked extraordinary, they were prepared in front of us fresh to order and I definitely will return for one soon!

What an unexpected treat! This cafe offers such good food, cooked to order. I had the most superb grass fed beef I have tasted in a very long time. Staff are very friendly and the ambience relaxed. Highly recommended for coffee, cakes, or full meals.

Found this fantastic place today on our child-free day out. Had campfire beans and creamy mash with sausages. Perfect comfort food for during this cold weather. Will definitely be back again.

Popped in between meetings and had a sausage sandwhich i asked to take out. I dont think this is something they normally do (could be wrong) but was accommodated nonetheless. Food was made very quick and was absolutely delicious, and the portion is not to be sniffed at, i would describe it as a "doorstop sandwhich"!. Cafe itself has a very cosey feel to it. I will be back for a sit in lunchtime treat next time...thank you :)

Just moved to Blandford and first time trying The Yellow Bicycle. Best breakfast out for a long time. Can’t wait to come back and try the Specials. The food, not the band ….. although the music is great here too!
