Wells Deli

Visited today and was totally impressed with our experience. The staff are really friendly and welcoming. The food was excellent. A real hidden gem of a place. Great service and a good selection of food to choose from.

Great little seaside cafe. Lovely breakfast bun with egg sausage and bacon and a super latte. All in a cracking place with lovely staff. It is a very popular place so you may have a little wait for a seat inside.

Great cafe with the best view in Wells, all had brunch, I had the toasted vegan sourdough with avacado, feta and salad with American and oat milk. Never have to wait to long, dogs are made welcome and there's plenty of seating.

Like walking into gluten free+dairy free heaven! Such amazing friendly and helpful staff. What an incredible selection of tasty, healthy treats! Had a gf sourdough toastie, omg, it was perfection and an oat milk hot chocolate.

We sat at the bar on a very busy day for them, but service from the staff was still fantastic. Very friendly and our little dog was happy to sit and dog/people watch as we had coffee and breakfast.

Visited in January, lovely place. Had the coconut prawn noodles Thai dish which was absolutely delicious. Couldn't eat it all but it was too nice to leave so my leftovers were beautifully packaged up for me to take away. Staff were all lovely and nothing was too much trouble.

We arrived in Wells at lunchtime and decided to look for somewhere to eat before we set off to the beach. We stopped at the deli and were quickly seen too and my wife & I (and our dog) were seated on the long window seat looking over the harbour. Very pleasant.
We ordered some ciabattas and they were absolutely delicious! Massive too!! The carrot cake and dime cake was pretty awesome too!
I’m glad we stopped in, we both thought it was a lovely spot with great staff, great food and great atmosphere.
If we come back to Wells I’m sure we would return.

Second visit and it did not disappoint. Staff are friendly and helpful. My brunch with a sea view makes for a perfect start to the day

We ordered our drinks and were seated in the cafe area. We were served quickly and our drinks included iced caramel lattes, a milkshake and a cappuccino. We were all very happy with our drinks.

Wells Deli is a quirky little place perfect for a lunch stop by the sea. They recommended the Thai chicken Tom yum noodles which was a punchy bowl of freshness. I would add a bib to that recommendation (or maybe that’s just me). The pecan pie chaser was very tasty.
The options here are plentiful and I feel I have missed out. I will return for some more Wells Deli treats.

Well's Deli absolutely stunning. The food was amazing, staff friendly. We had the Bacon and Brie toastie tasted amazing and milkshake was more like a pudding x

Very impressed that the cutlery had noticeably been polished by hand.

Coffee was fine. Nachos were served on paper so couldn’t finish the cheese etc without risking eating paper.

We had a takeaway Sausage Roll, which was delicious and millionaires shortbread which was the best we ever eaten. Friendly staff, chatted to a staff member outside, very pleasant. For a nice lunch/snack which is different to fish n chips pop in here

Great decor and nice, quick service. Great to people watch from window seats! Both of our toasted sandwiches were lovely, particularly the ‘NewYorker’. Coffee was of good quality too. Would definitely recommend a visit, great menu to choose from and dog friendly too!

Had the most amazing cake ...on a cold, blustery February Sunday cake is always the best way of cheering things up! Staff very friendly and has a nice, cosy atmosphere

Went with my wife, we both had toasted sandwiches which were excellent, i also had a sausage roll, which again was stuffed with meat and surrounded by fabulous pastry, i would heartily recommend this place to anyone. Bonus points for being dog friendly

Excellent place right on the seafront. Had a Berry smoothie and sausage role plus coffee and lemon drizzle cake. Partner had the nachos and all were excellent. Young lady manning the table area was very professional and wiped down all seating amd tables after each customer left. Excellent food and coffee- well done!

Came here without a reservation and was seated very quickly despite it being busy, staff were really friendly and we were served promptly. Food was really good and very generous portion sizes on the toasties! Would highly recommend and would definitely return here.
