Highly Recommend.

The food is wonderful. Hot, tasty, fresh. The service was excellent, really nice vibe with all the cyclists and amazing views of the countryside to look at whilst enjoying my coffee.

The areas needed somewhere like this, I’ll definitely be returning. Edward (the owner) has built something really special here, definitely worth a visit. 5 stars!

Cracking cycling pit stop, perfectly located off a beautiful cycling route for a bite to eat and a refreshing drink or two. There is a good menu of sandwiches with added fries an option. If you’re hungrier there are two and three course options. The food was served promptly and was very good. We sit on the balcony and thoroughly enjoyed the sun and views. There is also a giant store being built which will make this place pretty perfect for cycling.

Outstanding food and service in a beautiful location.

Breakfast is fantastic, main menu for lunch is really good regardless of whether it's a snack or a full dinner. Most recently had a Sunday lunch here and it was out of this world.

The location is fab, especially in Spring and Summer for sitting on the patio.

The service from all staff is friendly and efficient and the perfect amount of attentiveness. It has a lovely vibe to the place with people having celebrations, cyclists an folk just in for coffee and cake

Everything that comes out the kitchen is absolutely top notch and the owners work hard to make sure you have a great experience.

A must visit for anyone.

I liked it a lot. Tasty food. Open sandwiches or main courses. Fresh roasts on a Sunday. Veggie options. Great service. Friendly people and atmosphere. East of Leicester off the A47.

Just popped in for a cafe stop and found excellent food, atmosphere, and service. View over the fields helps to make Ventoux special. We had soup and baked potatoes but the breakfast and main meals looked enticing as well. Good facilities, clean, music is subtle. All good.

Definitely recommend this place for breakfast/brunch or coffee & cake. There is gf bread available & milk alternatives. Service was very quick & friendly & the food was beautifully presented & very tasty - our whole group commented on it & had empty plates! Coffee was great too (even the decaf). Breakfast is able to be ordered up to 11.30am on a Sunday (when we visited) & then becomes Sunday lunch.
There is seating inside & out, although the outside seating didn't have any shade when we visited, so we opted to sit inside. The cafe decor is modern & has an interesting display on cycling. There is a single toilet inside the cafe (very clean), which has disability features, but I'm not sure if it would be large enough for a wheelchair user. Plenty of hardstanding parking with dedicated motorcycle parking on both sides of the car park entrance.
If going on a weekend, I would recommend booking a table or coming early, as it can get very busy. Lovely view of surrounding farmland while you eat. Definitely will be back!

Our first visit to cafe Ventoux. Really well set out giving you the option to sit outside on tables or couches or be inside. We arrived just before lunch and decided to wait for the Sunday lunch to start. It was well worth the wait. The starter was divine the picture shows the asparagus but the main course of beef was one of the best beef lunches I have had. My wife’s coronation quiche was just as good. What they do here is to be the very best in food. If you have not tried cafe Ventoux take a trip out you will love it. Oh and the breakfast still been served as we arrived looked just as special.

Had a lucky find with Café Ventoux whilst out and about Dropped in on spec for a drink. Had lattes and scones but the other food also looked nice around us. The staff were all very friendly, the views were nice and the whole atmosphere was very comfortable. It'll definitely be on our list for a revisit when we're in the area.

Joined an evening of live music and chilli. Food was amazing, both the standard and the veggie versions. Duet band ‘Leannan’ were great. Service was fantastic, location beautiful - highly recommend!

This is a really great cycling cafe. It's interior is really quirky and the staff are very friendly. The coffee on offer is of an amazing standard and would recommend.

I haven't tried the appealing cakes or breakfast but I think I'll try them out on future visits.

It's location is great and you can plan your cycle rides in the Leicestershire countryside to include a coffee and refreshment break at the café.

Highly recommend whether your cycling there or going by car.

Review update:
The above still holds true, visited today as part of a bike ride. Just wanted to call out and emphasise that the staff are really friendly and lovely. I'm not sure what the lady's name is but she definitely was a popular character with the visiting punters. She was genuine character with a super friendly aura. Well done!

As part of our cycling ride this morning we decided to get a veggie brekky as we've been here a number of times and have seen the breakfasts that come out of the kitchen which looked fab. We usually just used to get a coffee.

The breakfast was top class 10/10. Would definitely recommend. Although if you're cycling after the breakfast I probably wouldn't recommend a large one! All the items on the plate were delicious.

Great ride out to the newly reopened Café Ventoux. Fantastic food and coffee ...can certainly recommend the Brioche bacon roll....delicious. Really big outdoor seating area as well for when it's warm(er).

Absolutely amazing breakfast, every item was perfectly cooked and flavoured so well. The scrambled tofu was so nice, and this is how mushrooms should be on a breakfast 😋 I didn’t leave a crumb 😂 also a choice on plant milks (soya and oat) and I saw vegan friendly cakes on offer. Hubby had an equally amazing meat breakfast, and the tea/coffee was nice. Will definitely be back soon (although not too regularly as a little pricey but worth it!)

What a find, popped along for a geocaching event and the breakfast was great, really tasty and thoughtful. All elements were top quality and so worth it. Plus, Choxi & Abby loved their doggy treat.
We sat outside but inside was nicely setup with friendly staff
Thanks

First visit - so enjoyable, lovely food (don't let the limited menu put you off, we just had three different choice - all excellent!) All in a gorgeous setting with great staff too, will be going back very soon.

I had lunch at Cafe Ventoux today and the waitress misunderstood my order, brought out a cauliflower soup instead of the main I had asked for. I was offered the soup while I waited for the right order. I have to say, it was absolutely delicious, probably the best soup I had in a good while! The main was gorgeous too. Left well fed and happy!

Recently, I enjoyed a delightful breakfast meal at Café Ventoux, and the offerings left me thoroughly impressed.

The pancakes? Absolute perfection with their fluffy texture and impeccable pairing with side elements. The standout dishes, though, were the robust Full English breakfast and the impeccably seasoned Smashed Avocado. The café's warm ambiance, combined with the delectable dishes, turned our morning into an unforgettable experience. My two boys were over the moon, and even my typically discerning parents rated it as first-class. A special mention goes to the two female staff members who went above and beyond to make us feel exceptionally welcomed. If you're scouting for an elite breakfast or brunch spot, this is the place! 🥞🍳🥑🌟

10/10

Tremendous. Really friendly and the food was great too. Pro tip: there's only limited seating in the picnic tables outside the door during the COVID situation, so make sure you have a Plan B in case you can't get a seat...

A great café to come to, very welcoming staff and great food to boot. Plenty of outdoor seating for those warm sunny days with space inside aplenty. Well worth coming here.
