YMCA Shop

Newly renovated and fairly large charity shop. You would be hard pressed to realise that this is a charity shop at first glance. Mostly higher quality items compared to a normal charity shop experience. Nice friendly staff.

Really good charity shop with some quality items, reasonably priced. It's location is a little remote but well worth a visit. Good variety of items and worth a visit for novelty birthday or Christmas gifts.

As a porcelain dealer I visit a LOT of charity shops. Believe me, you will not find a better one anywhere in the UK.

Wonder if it was the same lady as review below, but we had a really unpleasant experience today due to some inappropriate language from an elderly woman volunteering in the shop. If you don’t want to work in there and can’t be polite & respectful towards those coming in and purchasing items, don’t work there! Simple.

Older female worker/volunteer seems to have homophobic slurs imbedded into her vocabulary, I asked her about the price of a shirt and she scoffed and walked off without helping me.

Wow i really dont understand why the assistant volunteers there. She really doesnt want to be there. How rude and unhelpful. Wont be back

One of your counter staff seems to be fond of using homophobic language. I certainly wouldn't feel safe here.

Rude lady behind the counter, asked on a price for a suit jacket that was very over priced.... this is a shop that gets its items for free and they are trying to sell at ridiculous prices.... they don't pay normal business rates so should be selling at a fair and just price... this is not a charity shop this is a second hand shop dodging tax....

This is supposed to be a charity shop. At their prices you may as well buy new. Very disappointing.
