Coco's Coffee & Candles

Popped in for a coffee and got toasties and a cookie also as it all looked so delicious. Lovely bright, light modern decor, friendly staff and delicious food. Would definitely come again - I want to try some of the cakes!

I saw that this new coffee shop had opened in the middle of Aberdare, thought I'd have a look and was not at all disappointed.

First impressions are important. It was clean, new(because it is), the lighting was perfect, the sign on the wall says something like "you can sit with us." I like the way the door is inset by a few metres, a little old fashioned but adds character. The staff were friendly, happy almost which is rare, the cups and saucers were different, the set out of the drinks list on the wall, the seating... all a little different. A friendly and cozy feel to the joint, I like it there.

The prices were reasonable and the cakes look delicious although I have not tried.

Had a very continental feel.

We stopped for coffee while we were visiting my daughter, who has just moved onto the town. It was the best coffee shop that we saw in the town and the service, and coffee were excellent.

At last great coffee in Aberdare. The service is amazing as well. Quality coffee, lovely cakes and staff that are attentive, friendly and polite. There's also the candle shop in the back where you can buy coconut wax candles that smell wonderful...

Stop for a coffee whilst up here for work and it's wonderful. Lovely decor and seating arrangements. Really attentive staff and great atmosphere. Highly recommend.

Aberdare has a few coffee shops but i think this one outshines them all.

Aberdare has a plethora of coffee shops, so was pleasantly surprised that Coco's has managed to stand out (for all the right reasons). This coffee shop would not be out of place in Cardiff city centre, and is a very special addition to Aberdare. Other than a neon sign ("you can sit with us") which lights up when there are seats available, the place has a rustic charm, continental almost. If you visit (and you absolutely should) don't forget to check out the candle shop in the back!

The most beautiful coffee shop I've ever seen. I'm already a big fab of That Coco Company candles, and I knew that the new coffee shop would bring a little class to Aberdare, but I was blown away when I visited on the weekend. This was their 2nd day of trading and there were no issues whatsoever, quite the opposite. Bridie and her team are warm and welcoming and the decor and crockery are a thing of beauty; not to mention the quality of the coffees and pastries! I will be a regular here.

Wow! What a beautiful coffee shop in Aberdare. Been there twice and had amazing coffee & cakes. I’ll definitely be my local coffee spot. 10/10. The girls that work there are so lovely!
