The Rabbit Hole Tea Room

First time visiting here this afternoon. What a lovely place. Every wall is covered with pictures and decor, the shelves are filled with antiques and Alice In Wonderland decor. If you are an avid Alice In Wonderland fan, you will LOVE this place.

From someone who used to love Alice In Wonderland growing up, it is like a trip down memory lane and I know younger me would’ve loved it.

I am a fussy eater and they catered to all of my needs, whereas most afternoon tea’s have set menus, here you get to pick exactly what you want.

The food is gorgeous and even with them being busy, the service was prompt and fast. I love how all of the cutlery are also antique pieces, they are very unique and pretty.

The staff are very lovely and nothing is too much for them.

I felt so relaxed here and did not want to leave 😂. I definitely will be back❤

What an amazing little gem this place is! The decoration is incredible, as soon as you walk in you feel like you’re in wonderland. The service was exceptional, a huge selection of different types of tea and the food was delicious. Had the afternoon tea for my nan’s birthday and we all loved it. I can’t wait to come back!

We went for the themed afternoon tea today and it was amazing so much thought and details goes into it! I’ve been a few times now and each time the food is amazing and the staff are always so friendly. The owner always comes to chat to you and check everything’s okay which is always appreciated!

I have food allergies so normally going for meals is really difficult and my options are limited but they make it so easy and nothing is too much trouble for the staff. Always accommodate and have plenty of options for gluten and dairy free. I would 100% recommend one of the best places in the area for food allergies!

Went for afternoon tea with family - great for all ages. My 9 year old daughter loved it and was amazed by the decor! The food was delicious and the service was second to none. Staff were very helpful and lovely. Fabulous place to visit. Will definitely be going again and would recommend.

So impressed with this lovely, unique little place. Fantastic, fresh food, amazing tea and cake selection. Lovely, friendly service. It is exactly what you would hope it to be. The decor is fabulous too, a great spot for a special occasion.

The food is great. The staff were also friendly and passionate about their job.
The place is beautifully decorated, if you're a fan of Alice in Wonderland or a fan of anything beautiful, this place is a great place to visit and spend time with family.
The place opens at 11:30AM, and we went just after it opened. When we walked in, the place was empty. The staff asked me if we have a reservation and I said we don't. She went back in to check if they can accommodate us, which made me wonder why she had to check because the place is empty. Then a few minutes later, more and more people walked in, and the whole place was full within the half an hour. So it means it's really popular (this was even a weekday). So I suggest book a reservation before going.

Visited The rabbit Hole Tea Room today for a themed afternoon tea and it was amazing, staff were lovely and food was great!
I am celiac so finding nice places to eat can be hard, but I had everything that everyone else had just a “gluten free” version, the bread was tasty, the cake was tasty, I didn’t feel left out & I felt comfortable that the workers understood about intolerances/issues surrounding allergens which is reassuring. I really enjoyed it. Would recommend & would visit again!🤩😋

We visited here for a birthday and the food, service, and atmosphere completely blew us away! It's clear that A LOT of thought has gone into the food and decor at the Rabbit Hole. We had afternoon tea and savoury boards for 6 people- everything was delicious and at just £25pp we were very impressed with the price. We will most certainly be returning soon!

Took my mum here for an afternoon tea experience and we loved every minute of it. Lovely staff and gorgeous food, beautifully presented. The decor is also so impressive. A lovely place for a special occasion or just because.

My daughter took me for the Nightmare before Christmas themed afternoon tea. It was gorgeous we had a lovely time, the food was great and the staff friendly and efficient. The atmosphere really cosy. We're hopefully returning for the festive version. Would recommend for anyone.

What a lovely gem The Rabbit Hole is. Our first experience here and is was such a pleasure; lovely friendly staff, clean, lovely decor and the food was amazing!
Three types of afternoon tea one of which was a savoury option which is such a great idea. £25 a head is so reasonable too. The food was plentiful and freshly prepared and bloody delicious. We had to take doggy bags home there was so much.
They even offered to make some finger sandwiches for my 11 month old grandson at no extra cost.
Altogether a fab experience and I would definitely recommend here and will return. Thank you

Visited today with a large group of girls from work and everything was amazing from the decor to the food to the service (there is sooooo much to look at its brilliant)

My friend had a vegan option which was served separately but looked just the same as our which I thought was a fantastic touch

We couldn’t eat all the food as was very generous serving we all had to take home a doggy bag 😂

As a massive alice in wonderland fan i was not disappointed and would highly recommend, love the little touches like the pink lemonade in the tiny cups, flamingos on the cupcakes only suggestions i would make is the little heart biscuits have an eat me print on and staff have alice outfits on not even full on costumes even if just Tshirts (absolutely doesn’t take anything away from how amazing this place is just another little touch which i think would be really cool)

Cant wait for my next visit

Absolutely outstanding tea room in Stoke opposite Stoke Minster, it is great to have something so different and charming in this area. Staff were friendly and helpful from the start of our visit right until the end, the restaurant was busy and I would recommend booking as they had to turn some people away due to being full. A great selection of teas and coffees (I of course had traditional English but a real treat to have loose leaf). We had the afternoon tea selection of sandwiches, cakes scones and sweet nibbles (and the little drinks). Lovely atmospheric, decoration with gentle background music.

Once again another fabulous Afternoon Tea at the Rabbit Hole! The staff are wonderfully helpful and kind and the food is plentiful and delicious.
We ordered the Afternoon Tea which is a perfect mix of both sweet and savoury treats and also a Savoury Afternoon Tea which is amazing for those without a sweet tooth. We enjoyed every bite!
The decor inside is perfectly magical and whimsical, transporting you to a fairytale.
Every time we have had the pleasure of dining here it gets better and better.
I would also like to add that the price is amazing considering the amount of treats you receive!

We went here for a brunch meal and it was great! The staff were very friendly and the food was good. We got tea and toasties (as well as some cake to go) and the toasties were filling and very delicious. The cake we had was amazing (jammy dodger and salted caramel, I think). Will definitely come again, might try the afternoon tea next time (though it is a little pricey). Very good atmosphere and love the decorations.

I've had the best afternoon tea experience in this little gem. It's a lovely quirky place suitable for all ages. The service is excellent. The sandwiches and cakes are very fresh. If you are a bit adventures in trying new things like me , you will love their herbal teas which changes during the seasons.

Myself, my Mum and my Sister ate here today and it was lovely. We hadn't booked but thought we would nip in on the off chance they had a free table. Fortunately they were able to accommodate us and we all enjoyed a lovely lunch in a beautiful setting. The staff/owners are very friendly and welcoming. The service was incredible. We were served really quickly, checked numerous times to make sure everything was ok and the bill was sorted as soon as we asked for it. Everything was spot on and we recommend it to all. We will visit again soon.

We’ve visited the rabbit hole many time and it never disappoints. The decor is out of this world as is the quality of the food. The portion sizes are enough for a doggy bag so be prepared. My favourite is the scone selection I think I could eat them everyday.

Wow!! What an experience, very warm, friendly staff and delicious afternoon tea. The scones were especially tasty. The decor is very Alice in Wonderland, with lots of quirky trinkets, so much that its a lot to take in. Really enjoyable afternoon. After a second visit, which I enjoyed just as much as the first, I could take in more detail but will still need to return.

I visited for the first time with my daughter and granddaughter for Barbie afternoon tea.
It was first class, the food was amazing and plenty of it. The staff were very friendly and helpful.
We had a fantastic afternoon and will definitely be revisiting.
