Iv found this shop a pleasure to shop in the owners have always been polite with me.

I don't know why so many reviews are negative. This shop sells lots of useful stuffs and I have never experienced any kind of refuse when I asked receipt.

Father and son run business....I can only say they have been working in this shop together for years and I find them as a very good team....they understand the customers needs and usually have it in stock. We'll done. Can only imagine the four other reviews are from new competitors.....they don't know the family like the locals do.

Owner with Staffs of this Shop are arrogant, abusive and mannerless. But you can have your Daily Necessities here, something with low prices and something with very expensive.

A good shop they sell just about everything at a good price

There is an extremely rude and aggressive older man in this shop. His behavior and tone were so unpleasant that I had to leave immediately. He was also condescending, disrespectful, and kept making offensive remarks, which made the whole experience intolerable.

Would give 0 stars but not possible.
Never been spoken to like that by a complete stranger before 😅 this man doesn’t need your business.
When I first read the reviews for this shop I couldn’t quite believe that the reality of is going to be far worse than portrayed by many of the customers the shop keeper had offended, now I can add myself to the long list of victims this man had managed to cuss out on the street 😂😂😂

It started by asking if I can have a cardboard box so you don’t damage the plants on the way home. As the shop was shutting down, I was told that I either take it as it is or leave it, I decided to do the latter as I understood that the staff also wants to go home and I didn’t want to damage the plants as they are delicate. I made mistake of coming back another day when I had a car close by, only to be recognised by the bloke when asking how to go about paying for the plants, as I needed quite a few. I was meet with arrogance as the boss man was offended that I didn’t buy the product last time, the man proceeded to cuss me out and refused the sale. I have no idea what people like that are doing running a business, normally I’m all in favour of supporting the independent businesses but I think we could all with clean consciousness let this one die.

Ps. Why so angry strange man, you need to learn to be kinder to people, only than you learn to be kind to yourself and maybe the anger will go away babes 😅 we can’t spread hateful behaviour and language like that, it’s very rude not to mention you are supposed to be running a business sir, this put me off from shopping anywhere on Walsgrave.

Oh my god, I am shocked when I met such a dirty and cheap cashier in this shop. How the goods are below quality in this shop, moreover, the cashier's manner quality is below that. Rude and very dirty🤮🤮. How the UK Government allow these kind of shops and people to be in the UK. My recommendations to public is to never go to this shop, unless you want to destroy your day with such a rude and dirty cashier. I'll never even go to this road anymore.
