Gull Island Playground

A great place for younger children. They seem to play well together or on their own in the sand and all the well built and we'll maintained equipment. Lots of soft sand and rubber flooring on some of the equipment. No seats for parents/ grandparents in the play area but some benches outside and on the grass banks. Family cafe / restaurant very close serving good morning and lunch time food and drink. Toilets available. There are no distractions such as you shops/ice creams etc. Lots of happy children and no costs except for food and drink if needed.

My daughter grew up in this park. Great for all ages, including crawling babies. It feels extremely summery all year round thanks to the massive sandy areas. There's always a great atmosphere in the park and the park is surrounded by great facilities, like the Café Coast, the Splashpoint centre or the water pad. Plenty of parking spaces and right next to the sea. Massive field to play football or other activities besides the park too.

Nice little park with something for all ages and laid out so you can keep an eye on the kids without having to follow them everywhere
