Halfords Autocentre Shoreham

This is my first year with motoring club and although I'm closer to Brighton, I chose Shoreham Autocentre for my MOT and major service to test the membership. I was welcomed on the very early and cold morning with a smile by a friendly young gentleman Bryan. I was a bit confused about the process of dropping off the car and picking it up much later than expected but Bryan politely and patiently explained everything. The car required few minor repairs and there was an issue with electronics. Bryan explained everything clearly and kept me updated on the progress and results of diagnostics could not have been made clearer to me. I watched him dealing with other customers as well and he is such a nice and kind human being. It makes a huge difference to the service and helps with the tension when our cars that we rely so heavily on are subject to testing especially on the last day of their MOT. Totally recommend this garage and will keep my motoring membership! Thank you Bryan and see you next year!

MOT time and Jason and his team made the process as pleasant as possible. Next-day appointment, car inspected on time and I was called immediately to let me know it was ready to pick up. Couldn’t wish for better service A*****

Booked in for an oil change and check over. Brilliantly simple service on my side, very thorough check over to go over what was wrong/needed to be fixed in the not so distant future. (All things I kind of knew would need doing, but still good to get confirmed/verified)

Great experience. I’ve been twice in the past couple of months and staff in the shop and Jason in the Autocentre were attentive and helped me find what I needed / answer my questions. Will be making this my main garage from now on!

Fantastic service and much better priced than dealerships (stealerships,). Jason and his team are super friendly and helpful, you feel like your custom is valued, again in direct contrast to the impression you get from most main dealerships, who make you feel that you a lucky they are willing to ever consider looking at you vehicle.

My wife car had a rear spring break, even though purchased from a local Ford dealer under six months earlier with 15,000 miles on the clock the Ford dealer quoted over double the price Halfords Auto centre charged to replace both of the rear springs (they have to be done in pairs).

At short notice, they squeezed the car in. The work was completed in a day, they called my wife within one hour after she dropped it in to give her the estimated collection time. The work carried out was to very high calibre, the vehicle's ride is much smoother than we have previously known.

Can't praise them enough, in future it will be Halfords for all work to both our cars.

Jason -the manager was friendly professional , informed and informing. He gave a clear explanation of the likely issues relating to my vehicle and explained the cost options to resolve likely problems. He was able to obtain spare parts on the same day (a Sunday) saving me time and trouble in returning at a later date.

I have had my car fully serviced with an MOT now for a few years and they have never let me down. The staff are often very busy but always polite and keep you well informed throughout. I would recommend this garage to others as the sevice is good and very well priced. Thank you!!

Had a free MOT as part of a marketing deal, no issues, car passed MOT. 2 weeks later I booked a major service as 2 years since my car's last service. All fine, they gave me advice on a tyre with a bit of wear left. Took my car in early morning midweek and it was ready by midday.
Based on this experience I'm very satisfied. Helpful to book online, good communication, friendly staff and convenient location. Felt the price was good compared to dealership.

I booked my car in for the MOT at Halfords Shoreham and despite being on lockdown i felt very safe. The staff are very friendly, helpful and keep you informed. I cannot fault the service given in any way. Also the price for an MOT is good.

The Customer service by Jason at the desk was as friendly and welcoming as always. I trust the advice he offers and he is always very knowledgeable. The team seem efficient and my car was ready withing the specified time. Another great job by the whole Halfords team.

Superb service from manager on duty. Nothing was too much trouble. A welcome change from
some other similar providers who don’t have the Customer experience quite right. Halfords did!

I drive an hour to just come here to get my car sorted. The front house manager is amazing! (Jason Munday) polite and really helpful. Happy to drive the extra mile as I know the service I get is always 5 stars.

Excellent service, very welcoming at reception, found the battery for my car and fitted it within 20 minutes. Very efficient and battery has a 5 year warranty

Now I have a long history of use with various branches. However this branch helped me out massively. I had issues setting my new phone to my stereo in the car. Went in asked them and the not only helped me but got it sorted. Very nice and helpful store crew. Brilliant 👏.

Jason and his team have come up trumps again! First time they did a good job and I was happy with the service, but I had a break test done which I didn't feel necessary this time. Jason not only listened to what I asked, but also reassured me with helpful information concerning the break test. He then went on to diagnose a potential oil over fill in my engine (made by previous owner), remove the overfill and didn't charge me a penny!! I would have given him a tip, but I didn't have any cash on me. Just to add to his already splendid service, he went on to inform me of the £10 MOT deal they have on at the moment to increase customer liaisons and build a more solid, lifelong relationship.. well, he has convinced me enough to take them on in that respect. Always Great service at this Autocentre, Easy Booking, straightforward getting your vehicle repaired / MOT / Service or advise needed regarding issues / technical problems with your car/van. Also very helpful staff, with very good communication, Extremely helpful and Efficient. Will highly recommend this place and will be returning there next time its needed! Cheers

Was looking for a electric bike young lad in there gave good advice and his option and even offered me to try his own bike to see if it was one i would like . Took his time to explain and i didnt feel rush if i had question :)

Wonderful service, the managerJason is always extremely helpful and the mechanical staff complete the work in a very efficient and timely manner. Great for tyres and brake pads. Would certainly recommend this branch.

A fantastic service from Jason and his team, as always. The teams at Shoreham have always been really helpful, I've used them for about 10 years now and are always happy to provide additional advice as well as the services they provide. The previous managers have been excellent and Jason, who has been there for a few years now, continues that level of service. I can totally recommend using Halfords Auto centre if you live in the Shoreham area.

MOT at Halfords. Very happy with the way my car was both looked after and inspected during the MOT. I noticed how nicely the cars were driven in and out of the garage, something of importance to me. Timing of appointment was prompt and MOT carried out efficiently. I felt very happy with my visit to Halfords Autocentre at Shoreham.
