The Crown Inn Elton

From the moment I arrived and until I left I can't complain about anything. The room was lovely, clean and tidy and the breakfast and dinner service was fantastic. The staff were under pressure as they were a chef down but that didn't change the length of wait - The meals and menu were great with plenty of choice (not too little & not too much) I actually happened to miss breakfast on my last day and they very kindly made me up a breakfast bap which was lovely !!
I've already booked to stay here next month (June) and I am looking forward to it :)

Broke up our journey for a light lunch at this very picturesque inn. Out of the 6 of us we had various sandwiches with extra sides and one a burger. All meals were well presented and very tasty, can recommend the onion rings which were the best I have had.
Will look forward to going back for a more substantial meal.

Excellent family meal recently, in The Snug, with easy access outside so the children could run around.
Great staff, tasty food (you may only need two courses😂) and room took all 17 of us...thank you.

We came to meet up with our family to celebrate my husband's birthday.
The Inn was in a good location for the family to travel to and for us to visit old friends from where we used to live nearby.
Our room was cosy and comfortable with a well appointed bathroom and generous towels.
The evening with our family was a great success and this was certainly made even better by the wonderful food and service at the Inn.
We would not hesitate to recommend the Crown Inn.

Lovely little pub and restaurant in Elton. Stayed in a beautiful room at the back of the pub. A good selection of drinks and the evening dinner and breakfast were very nice. Service in the restaurants and at breakfast was a little slow but it was busy with Christmas dinner guests.
I would recommend both the food and the rooms.

Haven't stayed at the Inn.
But the meals are delicious & tasty. A good variety to choose from.
Moderately priced.
Cosy atmosphere.
Staff very helpful & friendly.

Food was outstanding 👌, cant comment on the location as it was dark when we arrived, however friends tell me the village is very picturesque ,will definitely return in the spring,definitely well worth the 1 hour drive,from Hertfordshire.

The room was very good: spacious, modern, well decorated, in excellent condition, the bed was huge and comfy, the bathroom was great and the room came with its own private garden. One of the nicest hotel rooms I've stayed in. There was lots of parking. The breakfast was also very good. I stayed only one night prior to visiting Burghley the next day. I hope to return in the future.

Lovely cosy pub and restaurant. Great food and service. The mains menu is a little pricey but the food is really nice.

We've just had the most amazing wedding. A beautiful venue in a beautiful location. We all stayed at the Crown Inn and the rooms are so beautiful and extremely clean and well stocked with everything you could need.
The staff were also amazing and they had everything in hand. Which meant we could just chill and enjoy our time with our family.
All the food we had there was so delicious. Extremely tasty and decent portions.
We would highly recommend the Crown Inn for any occasion.

Excellent evening meal and the staff were very efficient, friendly and polite.Have stayed at this pub several times and the standards always remain high.All the rooms are very good.High level of cleanliness with very large and comfortable beds. Would definitely recommend.

Great food, lovely atmosphere and great service. Only saw the restaurant and bar, so I can’t comment on the rooms as we weren’t staying but I’m sure they’re lovely.

Really good food for lunch and a varied menu.

We came here for a family meal and it was fantastic! There was 6 of us and a baby and the staff were amazing and attentive and nothing was too much trouble. The food was perfect and the pub itself has been fabulously done out. We will definitely be back!

Nice country pub. Good food, service a little slow but staff friendly.

What a beautiful establishment. A warm welcome on arrival. Our room was absolutely fabulous, beautifully decorated, comfortable bed, beautiful bathroom en suite. Dinner was delightful and very well presented. Staff attention to detail was second to none. Breakfast was delicious and offered a wide choice to choose from. Without a doubt, we will return as we love to visit Stamford, which is just a short distance away. Continued success with all that you do.

Set in a picture perfect village. Lovely B&B rooms and relaxed atmosphere in the pub. Our room was really spacious and beautifully decorated. Food was good - Sunday lunch. No hesitation in returning.

Stayed one night on business last week in the Burghley room, which is a superb and very comfortable room and had dinner in the evening, which was excellent.
I would also add that the lady member of staff working last Tuesday evening running the bar was hard working and delivered a five service.
Over the years I have stayed here many times and have always found the level of service, the quality of the rooms and food to be consistently of a very high standard.

Lovely pub, fantastic food.What is not too like
