A classic British fish and chips shop. Generous portions, fish was fried properly, proper cheesy chips

The man running the shop was friendly and polite, the order was cooked fast on front of us, pretty good if you are in the area. We had cod and haddock

Portion size on the cod and chips is incredible and so delicious! Fish and chips everywhere have gone up in price, but this one doesn't feel like a rip off unlike so many of the others. Friendly staff and loads of options on the menu! Go here rather than places in headington which are pricier for less and worse quality.

We had family come over a stay who were eger to eat fish n chips so I decided on the Mediterranean Fish Bar in Marston. The friendly welcome was complimented by the delicious fish n chips, everyone really enjoyed the taste and good quality, thank you very much, we will certainly see you again!

If you are looking for the best kebab this is your place!!! I've been in Oxford for 7 years and this place has been the only one I've been coming from the beginning until now. The service is also great, always friendly and nice to everyone. Highly recommended

Went in 5 minutes after closing, the guys were kind enough to give me 2 large portions of chips as well as their leftovers from the day for an absolute steal of a price. My friends and I ate very well that night, 10/10 would recommend

This place is a must, really nice clean enjoyabke breakfast with amazing service at good prices. Will certainly be a regular visitor of this place.

Hidden gem in Marston, satisfying cheeseburger and nice fish and chips. Easy to park and less crowded. Few tables available to dine in. Most importantly, it s halal.

Outstanding fish and chips!
The Cod was perfectly cooked – sweet, moist, chunky – in a tasty, crisp batter, and the (small) portion size for both it and the chips, was huge!
Good to find a halal, local chippy, with clean loos and dine-in options.

Always a great meal. We normally have fish and chips once a week. What's nice is we can sit in and get table service. All the staff are very friendly and make you feel welcome. The portion sizes are fairly good, and we always come away happy.

Polite and efficient service. Love the new lids to the sauce/sides pots. Crispy, tasty batter, large portion for a great price. Especially for Oxford. Stayed warm too!

They serve the best fish and chips in Oxfordshire!!! Fish is always fresh and delicious! Chips is not oily , which is amazing.

This place is great for a person with a big appetite! their fish and chips is huge, the amount of chips they give is very generous. The fish is always fresh and nicely cooked, the staff are friendly and the prices are reasonable i guess for their huge portion sizes. Their jacket potatoes are also massive! yummy stuff.

Friendly staff and amazing food!

By crikey, the fish l had was amazing: so "meaty" and the batter crispy at the edges a little softer in the middle, just wonderful. Generous helping of perfect "chip-shop" chips. The staff were excellent. Visited mid-week lunchtime (yesterday). I think it has become my go-to place for fish'n'chips in Oxford. Note if driving there that following the recent changes to the junction the entrance to the one-way road outside is now at the bottom of the hill (Google maps direction is correct but the satellite image suggests the old, now incorrect, direction)

Great place for fish and chips and all the usual take out foods. Really nice and friendly place and good portions too, rarely we manage to finish it all ourselves! Parking can be easy to in too pending on time of day I guess but generally can get parked along there.

Good food good service and competitive prices and good portions. What more can you ask for!
