The Beeches Campsite

Well run camp site, perfect for walking in the area, completed the Mortimer Trail while staying. Clean shower block with plentiful hot water. Sal couldn’t have been more welcoming, thoroughly recommend.

We store our motor home at The Beeches and love the campsite. Everything is beautifully kept, the facilities are always immaculate and the security is excellent. Dave and Sally are always so kind and helpful and make everyone welcome.

The animals are a great attraction and we love to see the chickens wandering around in the beautiful tranquil setting.

A lovely peaceful oasis. A friendly telephone call with regards to booking. A welcome cup of tea on arrival from Sally who is really friendly and helpful. Pitches are well spaced out on immaculately maintained site .With the wildlife to keep you entertained. One of those sites you don't want to broadcast in case we can't get in next year. With lots to do right on the doorstep. Thank you Sally and Dave for letting us stay and enjoy your wonderful site.

The Beeches campsite, a very beautiful and peaceful campsite surrounded by lots of green. We stayed at The Beeches campsite several times now and we will go back there when we can. Sally and Dave are wonderful people: they welcome you with a nice cup of tea and they make you feel at home. There are a lot of animals, so you feel like you are in the middle of nature!

Lovely uncrowded natural site and very helpful welcoming hostess, Sal. Donkey, Alpacas and sheep as well as ducks, rabbits and squirrels across the site

Lovely scenery, tidy, they have hens and alpaca's. Lakes in walking distance and the air field which is a short drive has a cafe. I was here with two granddaughters 7 and 12yrs. They enjoyed it.
There is no play area there but my two aren't into that anyway.

Beautiful site! Lovely owners :) we have a spaniel and there are plenty of forest walks nearby which we all love.
Also you can walk to the pub .... always a bonus!
Will be coming here as long as they will allow us to. 😁

Love this site! Cannot rate it highly enough. Myself and my family have been visiting this family run site for nearly 10 years. The site is wonderful, and the toilet and shower facilities are immaculately clean. We have never had any problem with noise and we find the site very peaceful and relaxing and we cannot wait until we can visit again as it is a truly wonderful place to stay!

Had a wonderful weekend at campsite, quite and peaceful, loved watching the geese and ducks. Sally was warm and welcoming. Will definitely return.

Beautifully kept campsite with very friendly and helpful owners. Love to see all the wildlife around and the chickens are really friendly too. Plenty of good walks nearby and the Bateman Arms pub and a shop.

Stayed 2 nights this weekend fabulous place to stay Sally and her husband great people absolutely spotless site, they work hard to keep it nice, Sally is always there to chat and anything else you need, lovely eggs thank you, just loved the place, will be going back definitely especially to see our little donkey friend, thank you very much, thank you

What a smashing place and the people who own the site, we were the only ones on site but the way Sally & Dave looked after us we felt we had Family with us with those extras given to us, will definitely be going back again. Keep up with what you are doing, see you soon.
