The Folly Coffee Bar

A beautiful spot for a coffee and lunch! It is clear it is a family owned business with a personal touch. Deacon's coffee is creamy and the sandwiches are excellent. I can't leave without some cakes and goodies made by Jade!! I LOVE THE FOLLY!!!

We enjoyed a coffee and cake pit stop here. Nice coffee, great cakes and tray bakes. Will definitely be coming back.

I go in the Folly regularly and the coffee is absolutely excellent. Good value compared with other local alternatives and really tasty. The sandwiches are also delicious (particularly love the Gardener) and there is an excellent selection of cakes. Wonderful friendly staff and a welcoming place for kids and dogs too. Only downside is it would be amazing if it was double the size but we love going there all the same!

I went in for the first time this morning and it was lovely. A bit small inside so it was a fight for a seat but they've done fantastically with the space they have! The coffee and the food were lovely (the loaded rocky road in particular was very nice). The staff all seemed lovely, in particular a delightful woman whose name I didn't catch (sorry) but was the spitting image of Taylor Swift...!

This is a gem of a place. Lovely staff, surroundings, cakes, and coffee. They do serve sandwiches, and they also look very delicious. Dog friendly.

I highly recommend the Folly. The sandwiches are excellent (the gardener, in particular, is glorious), the cakes are delicious and the staff are really friendly and helpful. I’ve been going for months now- this is a long overdue review. So happy to have the Folly in our village :) you must visit!

Nice little coffee spot. Also does smoothies. Popular on Sundays, good offering of cakes and pastries. oat and soy milk offered as alternatives

Excellent morning coffee stop. Can't fault it. The patisserie selection is excellent

Lovely coffee shop with half a dozen small tables inside and a couple outside. We arrived at 12:40 and already the Gardener Blaa had run out (sad times), so we had the beef Blaa and smoked salmon bagel, plus a flat white and brownie. All were super. Sandwiches were generous and great flavour combinations. Coffee was smooth and flavoursome (I have very high standards) and brownie was rich and decadent. Lovely setting - well designed lay out and spotlessly clean. We will be back, particularly if there are a few more vegetarian sandwiches on offer in coming months.

Wonderfully dog friendly, lovely staff and triple chocolate cookies to die for. Loved the little dish to put my teabag in, very thoughtful.

Outstanding lunch

Perfect stop for treating young grand daughter - lovely gingerbread man biscuit for her and a decent coffee (in very tactile Le Creusot mug) and fig muffin for me. Counter welcome a bit brusque but other than that a bright & welcome pitstop.

Small place nice food but bit cramped when full.
