I only recently found out that this 250 year old family brewery had opened an on-site tap room / pub, so just had to visit. On the outskirts of the main town, this is a fascinating establishment built within the original Victorian malt store, and is packed with memories of the brewery in the past. As you'd expect, the beer range is excellent, and food looked good too - pretty much regular pub dishes, but reasonably priced. Staff were very friendly and helpful, though on my visit service was a bit erratic, basically because new staff were being trained "on the job" that day. There's easy parking on site, or it's just a few minutes walk from Blandford town centre. Well recommended.

Yet another great Hall and Woodhouse venue. I often pop in for just a coffee and at other times a lunch. The staff, especially Jack and Anna, but others as well, are so welcoming and the food is always good...As is the coffee and unlike some of the other Hall and Woodhouse venues, they still give you the shortbread biscuits with your coffee! The rest rooms are always clean and great friendly atmosphere.
They also have a great shop alongside the pub, which sells all the Hall and Woodhouse beers/ales as well as Badger clothing.

Visited the restaurant with my kids for lunch. The food was delicious! Even my picky kids loved it, they were quite excited about how good the food was.
There's a nice little exhibition upstairs, my youngest son loved to look at all the historical stuff.
Really nice place!

Had a lovely meal here tonight, my partner and I shared a baked camebert , southern fried chicken flat bread and a portion of triple cooked chips. All was lovely, my 2 children had fish goujons and chicken goujons both were demolished! Rebecca was attentive and friendly waitress, we will be back. Thank you .

Highly recommended, great beer (of course) great service and a good choice for something a little different from just being in a pub.

But the best experience was the staff, very knowledgeable, very accommodating and very welcoming.

Would visit again 👍

Only popped in to get a couple of bottles, but ended up getting 8. Also went into the really well themed bar for a piece of cake and a coffee (well, had to have a beer really). The brewery tours looked really good too.

My friends and I arrived at unusual time of 3:30pm on a Saturday afternoon and despite the place being a little empty the staff were friendly, inviting and helpful. A really unique place with great food options and wonderful craft beers. Would definitely go again when we are in the area. Thanks for making us feel so welcome and for the superb service.

Absolutely loved this brewery. They have a mezzanine with comfy chairs and a nice downstairs for eating and drinking. Really tasty beers and the Mac and cheese was amazing. Lovely crumb on top. Perfect for a stop off but wish we could have stayed longer. There’s also a nice shop where you can take some of the tasty beers home with you.

Check the events as there are some great activities for kids. We went for an amazing play & dress up event for our toddler. Shipped him off and went for an English breakfast which was exceptional. Love the ambience in the bar with old machinery everywhere, like a museum. Check it out!
