Ascona Cafe Express, Crossgates

First time stopping here and will be making it one of my regulars!
Staff are lovely, so much selection and tastes amazing.
Had the bacon and egg roll, it was cooked perfectly 👌
Great size portion and very good price too.

100% recommend stopping on your way through

A spotless cafe, with very pleasent staff, toilets, laundry area, and a shop, fuel etc.. But for me the breakfast is the worth the review. Will definitely be visiting few times a week!!! Sorry diet 🙈😂. 10/10. You must stop here!! 🤩🖤👌🏻X

A surprisingly excellent café just north of Llandrindod. Open every day with happy staff. I had a steak and ale pie made by Celtic and it was quite possible the nicest pie I've eaten. Thanks and keep up the good work.

Just stopped in on the way past for a Sausage and Bacon bap, quite possibly the nicest I’ve every had. Good quality meat used and quick service. 10/10!

Stopped here on our way from Chester to Tenby, the food and service were great, we had a sausage barm and bacon barn with tea and the barms were well filled and large than expected so they kept us going for the rest of our journey. We noticed there seemed to be a lot of police stopping here so guess there must be a police facility somewhere close also trucks and motorcycles seem to visit, can't blame them, the food is generous, well priced and tasty, pity it's unlikely we'll be paying again anytime soon but well worth a visit if you're in the area and hungry.

Good breakfast at a reasonable price, very friendly staff.

Stopped for a bacon bap and a cuppa. Freshly cooked and not dried out. Flavoursome bacon. Couldn't fault the food or service. Highly recommended.

Staff service was good, staff were polite,but sadly breakfast was slightly overcooked. Eggs were crispy so was bacon. Bridged the gap though as it was all hot food

Much enjoyed my vegetarian breakfast with tea and toast It was a very good value

Thought we would stop for food on our week away. Food was lovely especially the sausage baps that good we stopped on the way back.

Great pit-stop café if travelling through Wales via Crossgates. Enjoyed a decent and filling full English breakfast whilst admiring the many motorbikes which stop by here.

A great stop off point for a recent fishing trip we called in for breakfast and use the facilities. The breakfast was excellent.

We often stop here on our bike , but this visit was with the inlaws , we were out checking the range on out electric car , shame there are no charging points at cross gates its the perfect place to refuel both us and the car

Had a great ride out to Crossgates for breakfast. Lovely friendly staff, great breakfast and mug of tea.

Passed by this cafe the other week and noticed loads of bikes and made a note to visit. We'll yesterday wasn't disappointed when passing pulled in only for coffee and cake but I must say lovely selection and great coffee. Staff very welcoming to us bikers and by current standards good value so clearly looking after customers the best they can. Thank you it's nice to feel welcome compliments to your staff

Smashing cafe at cross gates a few yards from the roundabout. Loads of tarmac parking and a very popular biker stop. You can see why, the good is great, the place is clean, and the staff are friendly and professional. Do drop in of you're on the area, check opening times first though!

Stopped off half way, on our way to Llanelli .
Excellent sandwiches, homemade cake. Friendly staff. Will use again.
