Damon provides a first class service. He unearthed what was a potential fire hazard in our house and we trusted Damon with the full rewire in our new family home. The original wiring was a bodge job and Damon made sure everything was redone from scratch, safe and went the extra mile to ensure I know where everything is to help me continue my renovations without undoing his work. Damon was very responsive when we had questions and made extra visits when we needed him to come out. We now live with the peace of mind that our house was rewired professionally to a very high standard.

Our house required a full rewire due to previous botched jobs and an overall outdated system. Damon has kept us informed at all times, he has been very accommodating, always punctual and transparent about the process and cost of the works. We provided a list of things that we wanted to achieve and he has gone above and beyond to ensure we were happy with the result. We couldn't be more pleased!

I contacted First in Electrical Services on a Sunday thinking I wouldn't get a response until Monday but they responded almost immediately. He went to view the job, gave me a quote which was reasonable and performed the job perfectly. Good communication is vital and some companies don't appreciate its importance. As a landlord it is imperative that you get the full picture so you can tell your tenants. I will be using Damon at First in Electrical Services for all my electrical needs going forward.

I don't usually bother with reviews but I feel I should for the work that Damo has carried out for us. We have just had a complete kitchen rip out and redesign with Damo doing the electrics. This involved repositioning of lights, switches, sockets and provision for the appliances. We also had our Consumer Unit and surge protection upgraded.
From the initial survey visit to completion Damo has been a first rate professional and offered good advice along the way. The very detailed estimate, first fix and second fix were completed as and when promised. One or two interesting problems encountered along were resolved without issues.

Damon installed a Ring Floodlight Cam for me and I am more than happy with the service received. He is professional, punctual with excellent communication skills (always answers messages and phone calls). I also find he is reasonably priced and (most importantly for me) honest. I had lots and lots of smallish jobs for which Damon supplied and fitted what was needed. My new kitchen lights are bright and fab! He was efficient, prompt and friendly. Will use again to change my fuse box and no doubt another long list!

Re-wired the kitchen with additional sockets etc. All work done to an excellent standard. Pleasant to have in the house and always on time. Definitely would recommend him.

Damo came at short notice to repair a burnt out switch. He made the switch and socket safe and in working condition, giving me good advice for my initial needs.

Damo came back a week later to carry out some further but related work for me.

He was very professional, polite, friendly and clean. Most of all very reasonable costs.

He will be returning in a few months time to do some more work for me.

I found First In via an ad in a local magazine and chose Damon over two other electricians that came and inspected what we wanted done.
Damon installed a new fuse box and numerous sockets after running a cable from the home fuse box to the summer house we were looking to get power to.
Damon was polite, attentive and never questioned anything we wanted, nor was anything too much trouble. Damon came to our property twice before the install as we had questions about what would be installed. At no point during Damon’s visits were we pressurised over any decision, nor were we put off from our plans.
The workmanship was first class and carried out within one day and on a Saturday as well.
I would strongly recommend Damon to anyone looking for any electrical work and will be asking him back in the future for other work we will require.

Messaged Damon about our power going out downstairs in our house, he responded very quickly about when he was next free it was as soon as the next evening he came round at 5pm. He investigated the cause of the problem very quckliy and then proceded to fix it very quickly as well. Very resonable price and very friendly and professional service.

Respect to Damon for carrying out a thorough check of the electrics and providing additional advice regarding remedial work and advice re EV charging. Damon did all this at short notice. I will be using his services in the future.

Update: Damon has now ungraded meter tails and fitted a new consumer unit with provision for future expansion. I would recommend First in Electricals.

We are very pleased with Damon’s work. He installed an electrical socket & light & switch in a store room for our tumble dryer. He was very tidy, professional & explained what needed to be done and also very reasonably priced. Excellent work. Suzy
