We popped into this beautiful little bookshop and cafe what a delight it was. After browsing all the books we went in the cafe and had a salad bowl with smoked salmon which was delicious and very healthy. The selection on the menu as good for brunch up until midday and then focuses on sandwiches, salads and wraps plus specials on the board. There is seating inside and out so if the weather is nice you have a choice. I would really recommend a visit here if you are a bookworm and or like healthy food selection.

The BEST cafe and bookshop! Great food and drink, a fantastic selection of books, and the most friendly and efficient staff. Everything is very reasonably priced too! I highly recommend a visit to anyone passing through the area.

Loved it! We went for a little break during our holidays and came back the next day for the breakfast as we were dying to try it. The hot chocolate is amazing and you can choose either white, milk or dark chocolate 💙 the breakfast was great too with good quality products and good portions.
Load of books and cute gifts and top of the top, it’s dog friendly! I wish it was close to where we leave ☺

Absolutely brilliant place, was warned by my brother re the bookshop, "you can lose yourself" he told me. And he was spot on wide selection amazing prices of new but discounted books and varied selection. Self-control required. The cafe is also first rate and as the day goes on extremely busy, v.good coffee and cake. This place is brilliant. And a word for the staff who are all really friendly.

Nice place to stop on the way through the countryside . I had a quick look in the Bookstore and got a snack at the cafe.

The book store has a good selection of books and is very spacious. The café is great the food is nice and staff members are helpful. Worth a stop for a rest break and a drink, Snack.

Fabulous book shop with a great café. They have food for a variety of dietary requirements (gluten free, dairy free, vegetarian, etc) and take such care to avoid cross contamination if they are aware you have an allergy or intolerance.
Always have really friendly staff and the place has a great atmosphere! It's also dog friendly.

If you’ve never been , please do! The cafe is always full, but you never wait long, the food is great and the bookstore amazing. Not your average bookstore and some lovely gifts to buy too

One of my favourite places! It's a fabulous bookshop and I never come away without at least one addition to my book collection. Add on to that a lovely cafe with delicious food, a welcoming friendly atmosphere, and it's become a favourite destination for a trip from Lichfield Cathedral Close where I live.

Review update September 2023....
This place is still as good as it always was. !!

What a treasure of a place this is.
From the outside it looks like an industrial building, but don't be fooled, it's quite a gem inside..
Quite far from your old school dusty book room, this is a modern organised range of books.
Easy to find as all sections have signs..
Most books are also below RRP.
It also does lots of trinkets from candles to mugs.
Lots of parking outside.
Toilets available.
Seating area.
A cafe, with outside seating.
The cafe itself is even worth a visit , and gets extremely busy with people queuing for a table.
I can fully recommend the hot chocolate...

Not your average book store. Has tons of books to choose from whatever your style. A fabulous section for kids too. There's also a great gift department if your looking for something special. The cafe serves great food. The staff are always really friendly, helpful, knowledgeable and chatty.

I had a lovely time amidst the vast amount of books. Loads of choice and great prices. I also managed to get a good book from the local authors shelves.

The kids section was well stocked with some toys and dress up too.

There is also a great range of local artisan crafts, from jewellery, soaps/smellies, cards and other crafts.

If I am ever back in the area I will definitely call back and try the cafe too, which was packed out during my visit!

What a lovely suprise. Was on route to an event and after a Google search this cafe was near by for a refreshment stop and what a quirky gem. 😁 I love places out the box and this definately was . A bookstore & cafe with lots of handmade gifts, cards, every type of book available, jigsaws, models etc and even loo's with a view with some fab finishing touches - how fantastic! 👍This is obviously a converted garage/station with the memrobilia situated on the walls in the cafe. I couldn't believe how busy this little place was. Have already recommended to my Biker friends & family who travel out this way to call in by to see it for themselves , however the only downside is the newly laid gravel carpark especially for motorcycles.

Cute and cosy little place!
Visited here after spending the weekend in Longnor, such a lovely shop and cafe.
Hot chocolate may be the best I've ever had! Books are so cheap and couldn't help myself but pick up a few...!
Definitely think it's worth the hour drive to come back sometime, and try the food!😁

Well worth a visit. Large selection of books available - limited sci fi / fantasy section but overall a very good selection. Cafe on site with really good food at reasonable prices.

A lovely book shop in stunning scenery. Cafe is always busy with a line waiting to get a table- so if you want the cafe be prepared to wait.
Children will love the child part of the book shop. And there is lots of things to buy that aren't books- great for presents

Loved wandering around this fabulous shop , browsing the many books , cards, gifts , etc, for sale here . The staff were really helpful and friendly . We never used the cafe , so I can't really comment on that , but it was super busy , so that says it all .

Lovely place. The books are gorgeous. The layout of the shops is so cozy. It has one of the best baby changing toilets I have experienced. It is usually the rubbish plastic things off the wall! So cute with the child toilets too with the parents. Cafe really different to many. Great menu and good service.
