Bosun's Bite

Popped in here for breakfast with the family....did not regret.
Food was great 👍 and such value for money.

Staff were really nice too, lovely people.

Had all day breakfast here yesterday after a morning spent walking the beach.
Perfect spot for a good hearty full English breakfast. Sat outside to enjoy the sunshine but plenty of tables inside.
Simple, straightforward menu, that is reasonably priced.
Variety of hot and cold drinks and some amazing looking cakes that I will have to go back and try another time !!

Nice little cafe off the beaten track but worth going to.ideal for stopping for a coffee and bite to eat .

After a long walk at Rye Harbour Nature Reserve this is the perfect place to stop off and re-fuel.
A typical English cafe. Great choice of food including vegetarian and children’s options. Eat in or take away. Honest prices for food and drink.
We have eaten here a few times and have never been disappointed. Its right next to the RNLI Lifeboat station.
Full English fast sets you up for the day. The sausages and mash was a huge portion for the money.
They try and source all the produce from local suppliers.
Easy parking, fast service and as I said before a typical old English cafe.

5th visit to Rye Harbour, happened to pop in for the first time, always managed to get the timing wrong and just closed etc...
Luckily they could seat the 4 of us for breakfast, the staff and attention was welcoming and friendly...
The Cafe is rustic, but, clean, plus the Covid regs were also adequately in place and observed...
Must say, we all had the large breakfast (Inc drink) in preparation for our journey home, and, it was delicious! Well done!!
No complaints from us all, even the dog benefitted from an uneaten sausage and bit of toast...
I'd knocked up a few breakfasts over the past few days, they were half decent, this one at Bosun's Bite, different class, spot on, and food value too! Definitely be back for more if we're in the area.

The most amazing Tuna sandwich. A proper little Café. Dogs allowed after a good walk in the nature reserve.

We went for lunch at this cafe on recommendation of a friend as it is dog friendly. What a pleasant experience, all the staff cane and greeted our three greyhounds and chatted to us. Food was excellent and service very good. Will certainly be going back.

Well organised with Covid-19 procedures in place. We started off with a coffee and then went for a 2 hour walk 🚶‍♀ 🚶‍♂. When we returned the young assistant remembered and asked how the walk was....We had lunch which was the special of the day Crab Roll which was quickly served and was delicious 😋

Great service, very impressed with the portion sizes and food wasn't half bad either! Everything cooked fresh. Great value for the money. Recommended

This is a must go cafe! Set off the main street but is surrounded by great views. The food is 5* and to go with that is the warm friendly staff there!

Despite there not being any water in the village for a few days the sandwiches that were produced were top notch.
I had a bacon and egg and my friend a BLT. They were both amazingly fresh and plentiful. Will happily return

Really lovely food. We had a scampi bap, salt and pepper squid and a portion of chips between us. Portions were generous and everything cooked to perfection, very impressed! A small investment in the decor could make it even better!

Took a while to find, ended up in a caravan park first time 😁 Spotted a small sign on a fence and found it eventually.

Was on motorcycles, found somewhere out from to park them and went in for a cold drink and a cake. Had a lump of flapjack and it was almost life changing it was that good. Sat outside in the sun and enjoyed the quiet.

Will be back for sure now I know where it is.

Excellent food breakfast great local produce....all freshly cooked so bit of a wait when busy which let's face it is most the time cos its so good.

If you don't want full breakfast sandwiches are great...
