Lovely welcome at Harling House. Sue & Steve could not have been more welcoming.
Great room with comfortable bed. Assortment of teas, coffee and hot chocolate in your room with fresh milk always available from the guests' fridge.
Food - great choices for breakfast with a comprehensive menu and cooked to perfection. Freshly homemade cake waiting for you when you return after your day out.
Sue & Steve gave good advice for places to visit with Steve's stunning photos also giving ideas for days out.
We would not hesitate to stay at Harling House when returning to the area and recommend it as a great place to stay.

Me & my wife have stayed at Harling House on both occasions we have completed the Yorkshire 3 peaks challenge for charity.
Sue & Steve are both very welcoming and make everything just that bit easier when you're there.
Area information prior to arrival, coffee & homemade cake on arrival, packed lunch for the day of the challenge and a lovely full English the day after when you need some extra calories.
Excellent B&B, in a great location for the areas many beautiful walks.
Honestly, you couldn't ask for a better place to stay whilst visiting the area.

What a fantastic stay! Sue and Steve are excellent Hosts, warm welcoming with cake and hot drinks. I stayed here for 2 nights while i was exploring the area and hiking the Yorkshire Dales 3 Peaks. Good starting base.

We stayed here in July of 2023, as home base for our first visit to the Yorkshire Dales. It was a good location for many of the best walks. Sue and Steve were wonderful hosts!!! They were so helpful and friendly. They anticipated many details to make our stay most comfortable. The breakfast was excellent. I was concerned that the proximity to the road would make it noisy. But our room was perfectly quiet. They sent information about the hiking and the local restaurants in advance of our arrival, so we were able to make restaurant reservations early. We highly recommend this bed and breakfast for exploring the Yorkshire Dales.

Beautiful guest house absolutely spotless and beautifully decorated. Sue was a wonderful host and nothing was too much trouble. Her homemade cake was delicious! The location of the B&B is ideally situated for those wanting to explore the area and complete the 3 peaks challenge. Sue was very knowledgeable about the walk and the surrounding area. Unfortunately due to a family issue we had to cut our break short but we shall definitely return to Harling House. I would recommend this B&B.

Warm welcome from Sue and Steve with delicious home-made cake and a cuppa to greet us
A lovely, substantial house with well-stocked gardens and bird feeders attracting a wealth of birds
Large spacious en-suite rooms with tea/coffe-making facilities, fresh milk and biscuits
Free toiletries and fluffy towels
Large, very comfortable beds
Flat screen TV with streaming channels
More delicious cake offered for afternoon tea, and most welcome after a day's hiking
Excellent choices at breakfast, and generous portions, just what we needed to set us up for our trek up Ingleborough and subsequent walks
Sue and Steve are excellent hosts, keen to help and share their local knowledge by word of mouth and informative leaflets and literature
We would definitely rebook a stay at Harling House and hope to return soon
Thank you Sue and Steve

What a lovely friendly place to stay. Sue and Steve couldn't have made us feel more welcome. They were genuinely interested in not only how our day had been but how all the guests had got on with their days activities. They also know the area very well and have many handing little nuggets of info to help you make the most of your day.
Breakfast is extremely good and a great time to have a gossip with Sue and Steve.
We will definitely choose Harling House again when we next visit the area and would happily recommend them to anyone. 5 stars for sure

The loveliest and quietest of BnB’s. Comfy beds, spacious rooms and great modern bathroom. Sue and Steve go above and beyond to make your stay as pleasant as possible. The breakfast was delicious and we were even given home made cake. What more could you ask for.

If we’re ever in Yorkshire again, we’ll be staying here for sure.

From the moment we rang the bell Sue and Steve were the perfect hosts and nothing was too much trouble. They were very helpful with useful information both before and during our stay. A lovely couple and very friendly. Even updated us prior to arrival about traffic conditions (via text). A very warm welcome with tea and home baked cake, (cake left in breakfast room for return each afternoon). Sue booked our first nights dinner venue for us.

The room was lovely and the bed really comfy, with great tea & coffee options. Busy road but couldn’t hear it, absolute silence. Everything you could possibly need had been thought of. Even fresh milk for drinks. You select your breakfast choice the night before, it’s beautifully cooked. Bag the table overlooking the garden, watch the birds on the feeders & wild rabbit running about. Rooms comfortable, generous tea and coffee options in room.

The property is well situated for the Ingleton Waterfalls Walk, Caves, Ribblehead viaduct, Wensleydale & the lakes (Windermere etc).

Certainly stay again & recommend to others.

Everything about Harling House is excellent. Sue & Steve were superb hosts and so friendly. Tea and homemade cake on arrival before being shown to our room. Fresh homemade cake every afternoon to eat in the sitting room. A great choice of breakfast and the apple juice made from apples from their own trees is a must. A lovely home feeling during our stay. I highly recommend a stay at Harling House. 😁👍

Sue and Steve are the BEST hosts that you could possibly ask for!! We were made to feel instantly welcome with a lovely pot of tea for two and some incredible cake (the cake continued on a daily basis which was delicious!). We loved the little lounge area where we played games (we brought our own but there was scrabble, cluedo etc that you could borrow!) and a whole host of tourist books and leaflets. Sue and Steve also provided us great recommendations of things to do in the area and always seemed genuinely interested in what we got up to. The breakfasts in the morning were great (loved the eco friendly ‘wipe clean’ daily order menu idea!). The room was beautifully clean with lovely tea and coffee, and a daily supply of fresh milk that you could collect in cute little jugs from the local pottery shop. :) Sue and Steve went above and beyond to help us out during our stay, always helping us out. Massive massive thank you to both of them. I would recommend this beautiful place in a gorgeous location to anyone!!
