Old Mill

Stopped in recently for a midweek meal with my partner and dog.
Very friendly team who even fussed Tia (the dog) and brought her a bowl of fresh water. She loves them!

The food was fantastic!!! Atmosphere was wonderful and I left with a big smile on my face and a very full tummy.

Thank you all so much for a lovely midweek date night. Can't wait to do it again!

The Old Mill is a lovely example of a local Gastropub. We've been here many times for a special occasions, birthdays and anniversaries. The food is delicious and it has great atmosphere.

Great food. The portion was enough, we liked it. The staff were friendly.

Haven't been to this pub for many years and it has really upped its game. Excellent food, beautifully presented and arrived quickly. Will definitely be returning!

It's one of our favourite eateries just on the outskirts of Ashford. The food is excellent and the staff are helpful and friendly. There is ample fee parking on site. You would ideally need to book early especially on special occasions. The food is cooked fresh to serve so be prepared to maybe wait a little longer than usual during a busy service but I assure you it will be worth the wait.

Glad we attempted this gorgeous pub despite reading a couple of other reviews saying that even though the pub seemed empty they could not get in for food as they hadn't booked a table. Luckily it just being the 2 of us we were given the opportunity to sit at a table in a corner and advised that food just may be a little longer due to the kitchen being busy already. Fortunately, we weren't in a hurry because it was WELL worth the wait. The food was perfecty cooked and the flavours were amazing!
And what better than a good selection of drinks for everyone to go with it.

Lovely place for a meal with the parents. The mother in law has mobility issues and the place was easily accessible for her. Staff were lovely and friendly and the food was gorgeous.

Had a party of six eating out here, we all had a different meal and everyone was more than happy, the staff were very professional we will eat here again, again and again we eat here and nothing changes the food is always cooked to perfection, the staff are always welcoming, there's always a good atmosphere, the steaks are to die for , the truth is the whole menu is to die for, I truly highly recommend eating here 100% been back several times after I wrote the 1st review it's been refurbished its bright and got a very fresh feel about it, the menu has changed a bit with specials changed daily my wife and I love it I stand by my 1st review, I repeat I highly recommend eating here 1st class

Just went with a friend this evening and I can honestly say it was the nicest meal I've had in Kent. The restaurant itself had a beautiful decor and an equally lovely atmosphere, a candle on each table was a nice touch. The staff were incredibly friendly and the service was quick without ever feeling rushed. The food was simply fantastic. My friend and I had very different meals, both of which were delicious which is truly the sign of a good kitchen. Prices were also shockingly reasonable for such a good dining experience. Already looking forward to my next visit.

[Revisited on 31 July 2022, after nearly 5 years. As good as I remembered it 5 years ago. Food was dee-lish. Burgers and Fish n Chips were on point! Service was exceptional. Very friendly. In particular, short blonde haired lady with all the tattoos! ] ...................................... Amazing pub. YUUUGE American sized portions.
From London, en route from Bear Lodge (Aspinalls)... stopped by chance. Excellent decision.

First time I have visited this pub, from the outside it doesn't look anything special (not tatty). The pub inside is very nice, the food is very nice, staff nice and friendly.
