Canwood Gallery is a little gem of a place, in truly wonderful surroundings!
Interesting in its own right, with its gallery and outside sculptures, enhanced when a guest exhibition is also on.
We had really great cakes and coffee too!

A wonderful fine art gallery down a winding lane. Beautiful permanent and temporary exhibitions when we visited.

Lovely place, beautiful grounds. Local artist Pierre Williams was exhibiting there. Such talent in our county is good to see. Well worth a visit.

Brilliant venue. Superb setting in the fabulous countryside, the views were simply stunning, on a sparkling autumn day. Saw the MA Fine Art exhibition inside the two galleries, which were intriguing and thought provoking. The outdoor sculptures are amazing in shape and form and scale. I loved the kinetic ones in particular.

Although we visited whilst the weather was a tad miserable, I'm so happy to have found the Canwood Gallery - it really brightened my day! This place is an amazingly peaceful gem to have discovered (with such an inspiring history), extremely friendly owners and volunteers whilst also some great pieces on display.

I'm already looking forward to visiting again!

A stunning gallery with beautiful sculpture trail. Visited in June and the meadow filled with daisies surrounding the sculptures is just spectacular.

Beautiful surroundings, excellent gallery. Definitely worth a visit to this gallery set in rural Herefordshire, stunning venue and views. I've visited a few times to see art and photography exhibitions and their beautiful collection of sculptures.

Striking sculpture in a glorious setting. We went on the most perfect summer day and were the only visitors so got the opportunity to chat with the fascinating owner. Well worth a visit.

A real gem - idyllic location, fantastic array of sculptures and artwork both inside and outside. Opens again in March, but lovely host showed us around despite it being off season. Cannot wait to visit again as the exhibitions change. Well worth a visit and will be spreading the word!

Magical small gallery with good exhibitions. Great sculptures in the fields surrounding it too. Free entry but donations encouraged. Small tea area with yummy cakes where you can sit out and soak up the sun and the peace.

Wonderful gallery with changing exhibitions, and a permanent (though changing as well) sculpture park. We had a really lovely time today visiting the gallery, and had a lovely cream tea to boot! The HCA alumni exhibition was particularly interesting. It is a little tricky to get there, but well worth any confusion in the journey. Had an interesting conversation with the lovely person who was running the gallery, and really enjoyed the variety of exhibits. Will definitely be coming back again to see the new exhibits that come out. Really surprising that this wonderful and well co-ordinated gallery was free! An added bonus.

A fantastic gallery showcasing amazing art both inside and out. We loved the current collection and wandered both fields and both galleries before enjoying a cuppa and one of the best lemon drizzle cakes. The gallery is the passion of one man, I hope he can secure funding as he moves things forward, our personal favourite was the sound/light artwork created by interaction by you the viewer it was also amazing to see Revelation working again, an artwork whose original home was Chatsworth house.

An extraordinary and truly unique experience. It really felt magical and sort of surreal to see such organic contemporary art on display in a rural setting.
Simple to get to, just follow the signs or Google maps. Go slowly the route is scenic too.

The gallery has wonderful rich oldness to it from the exterior. What lies inside was ground breaking and modern. Vulgar Earth - There are no words.
GO AND SEE IT FOR YOURSELF.

Very highly recommended - friendly and knowledgeable staff, refreshments available too.

DONATE DONATE DONATE - THIS TYPE OF ARTISTIC EXPERIENCE MAKES LIFE WORTH LIVING!

A wonderful, off the beaten track, art space in the middle of Herefordshire countryside.. stimulating contemporary outdoor sculpture and indoor art, all beautifully displayed and generously shared with the public.
