The Bridge Bakehouse

Visited this place while staying in Whaley Bridge and what a lovely place with good food and great staff. They were very friendly and welcoming.
We had cheese and onion pasties, which were nice and a custard tart and a Bakewell slice, which were really yummy 😋

We called on our way home and took some brownies home for my son, which again were lovely.

Nice little area to sit outside too.

Would definitely recommend and they told us we could order online for home delivery which is definitely worth considering 😊👍🏼

Such a great place. The food is gorgeous, the cakes are amazing! Prices are reasonable and the staff are just so lovely and friendly. I love coming to the bakehouse , I'm always welcomed by a friendly smile and nothing is too much for them . The staff always try to accommodate for my dietary requirements which I'm so grateful for. Just a lovely local cafe with a great atmosphere! The carrot cake is a must!

What a gem of a place! Must visit if you are around the area. We had a pie and a soup and we had to come back for a pasty as they were too good! They have lots of cakes and we tried the vegan brownie which is amazing. Friendly staff. Only but was the ciabatta bread that came with the soup which was not toasted (personal preference, I like crunchy bread)

Love this place! Sausage rolls, pies and hot sandwiches are very good! I'm addicted to the Toffee Pecan Brownies. My daughter recommends the milkshakes also.

Delicious sandwiches. Huge range of baked goods, and sandwiches/toasties/pasties. I’ve never seen bigger! Got a sandwich to takeaway on the way to a walk in the peaks. Highly recommend! Lots of seats outside undercover but none inside.

We stopped off here for a breakfast and brew, it was lovely, it was raining but they had a large canopy outside with heaters on, we had the dog with us too. Perfect spot will come again.

Stumbled across this todayhavubg walked from the Bugsworth Basin. Really cute patisserie, great range of cakes, pastries and preserves amongst other things. The coffee was nice and the alfresco seating area had a really good atmosphere. Will be back for sausage rolls 😋

Love to call in here when traveling over to Warrington. My guilty pleasure, the food is lovely as are the staff. Very friendly and welcoming 👍👍👍

Getting lunch or a snack at The Bakehouse is the highlight of my day. Mega sandwiches, smashing cakes and lovely staff! What more could you ask for?

10/10 breakfast sandwiches were lovely and we brought home cakes which are so huge!

This little cafe is just amazing! They do amazing sandwiches etc but the cakes/brownies are just to die for! We ordered a tonne more over lockdown which wasn't good for the waist but they're just amazing! The girls are great in here too always cheerful and the service is great. Would definitely recommend if in the area! (Biscoff Caramel Slice is the one!)

Very nice selection of drinks and dessert at very good price. Small seating area outside is just nice place to sit in the sun and look at the passers by. And super friendly staff and superb service :D

You know it's good when you eat a little and are satisfied.

Fabulous coffee and the nicest iced bakewell tart I have ever had!! - and I am somewhat of a connesieur of sweet treats! Considering I went it at 3.45 on a Sunday there was still a fantastic range of cakes available, such a huge choice was hard to decide! Their menu in general is absolutely fantastic and extensive. Outstanding place!

There are so many cakes on offer, it’s difficult to choose! They are all so good and you get a decent slab of cake for your money. The coffee is also very good too. The range of sandwiches sound delicious as well.

Can't get enough of the cakes at this cafe. Whenever anyone asks for recommendations of where to go for a walk I always recommend the canal with a stop off at the Bridge bakehouse. Best cakes ever but it's a nightmare having to pick one.

Really great sandwiches, cakes and pies. At the moment doing an outside service, order, stand ways and your name is called out for collection. Busy because it's so good. Keep up the good work while in lockdown.

Swung by for a lunch to take on a walk. Sandwiches were very tasty and full to bursting (loved the Jean Claude Van Ham). Made the mistake of getting two scones - one is enough for two people, they're huge!
