THE OLD CORN STORE BAR & BISTRO

We held a surprise 70th Birthday party here with 20 adults and 6 children and can highly recommend it as a great venue.

We had the venue to ourselves and were given the freedom to decorate how we wanted and pick the buffet food we wanted. Everyone commented on how tasty the food was and there was plenty of it.

Liz was very helpful and accommodating making it easy to plan a party here.

Visited today for a drink on our first ever trip to this town. The landlord and landlady were so welcoming providing us with a map and showing us various places thank you

Great place for a few pints, had a fantastic afternoon here in early December with friends for my birthday. The owner even let us have a go at pouring our own pints 😃

Lovely atmosphere, group of friendly regulars who welcome all in before you even get to meet the bar staff, all of which are just as lovely :))

Maybe a little quiet, we liked it.. music great from jukebox, and a nice,warm from the calorgas heater.
Doesn't look that inviting from the outside, but it's OK inside.

New waitress efficient and pleasant. A tad quiet...but with dimmed lights and a closed door, I thought it was closed. Other than opening the door, maybe place an A-board outside pub door?

Friendly bar, Jim's a decent fella too.
