The New Inn

This pub is a 40 minute walk for me, but a walk that is well worth taking. Friendly, with a range of ales that are always well kept, and served.

Great little back street pub close to the beach with a friendly local atmosphere and a lovely home made Sunday lunch definitely worth a visit

Fantastic pub - a must-visit for anyone who likes beer or wants to visit one of the few remaining traditional English pubs! I think food is only served on Sundays but it's a great place for a drink and chat, 5 minutes walk from the sea front

Stopped in by chance on a visit. What a lovely pub. Good friendly service from the bartender, good selection of beers and a fantastic covered garden out the back. Can highly recommend

Rather dubious initially as we were a party of 12 making a last minute booking for Sunday lunch on Mothering Sunday - this was the only place that could accommodate and when we got there the place was almost empty... so you wonder why! Shouldn't have worried - lovely service, they put us in our own room with its own bar, food came promptly and was lovely - between us we ordered roast beef, lamb and pork, and it was all delicious. And at £8.95 a plate, very good value.

This is a great local bar, recently given a lick of paint and more. Real Ales are superb with plenty of variety every week. Food is excellent too. Live bands normally play on Saturdays. Friendly place to relax.

Popped in on a very cold afternoon on the way home and and the log fire and warm welcome from the staff was very welcome

A great night of singing and ale tasting. A proper traditional pub. If you want to organise a group event, the New Inn puts on a fun night of ale tasting.
