Beautiful hidden gem of a place. Went on a sunny day in July, didn’t see a single person. Scenery was beautiful and very peaceful

Was able to park up, paying for parking was voluntary, had a lovely walk, saw the cows. Wear good shoes, ground uneven and very wet in places depending which route you take. Views are lovely, can see the wash from the cliff

Amazing place for walk, dog friendly, but need to have dog on lead all the time as it is cattle grazing land. Kids will enjoy the walk - very good path and broad walk.

Dog friendly on a lead short enough that they can't reach the heathland as birds nest here. This is one of my favourite places, you can walk about 3 mile's to the end of the path and then take an alternative route half way back through the forest. More amazing views here. There are many species of bird, insects and you will also see Deer. Cows are often on the path too.

Great find. Several places to park on the edge of the nature reserve. Pay by app voluntary payment. 3 great circular routes - Blue/pink /red clearly marked. Blue route takes in the bog. Blue route took us 50 mins plenty of stops to see birds etc We then did the Hair’s hike (pink) took similar time but we did stop to eat our lunch. Saw hen harriers both male and female, stonechats, munjak deer.
Very quiet and relaxing

Great place to go for a wonder and a picnic. Kids didn't want to be dragged out of the house but once there they loved it. Only thing is not to stray too far from the path as the place is as described, a bog. You will get wet feet ;)

Gorgeous place to walk. Very easy to get around. Dogs on leashes which is good as lots of wildlife in the heath and.

Beautiful nature reserve. Mixture of marsh and upland. Rather restricted at this time of year (May) due to a large proportion of the site being sealed off to protect ground nesting birds, but still worth a visit although you will be restricted to the main paths. Dogs must always be on a short lead here as it is a nature reserve. Disappointing to see some dog owners who do not think it applies to their dog. Either that or they can't read signs.

This was a great place we found very quiet and great walk with the kids, shame the bog was closed for repair. Definitely a place we will go back to again.

Adjacent to Sandringham Estate park which ER11 opened for us all to enjoy in 1968! Nice counter balance to Sandringham woodland trails. Good NE car parks if you prefer shorter walks from near Wolferton.
