The Sip Lewes

A great cafe right in town center. It was not too busy and allows you space for chitchat and enjoy music. We were amazed by super great customer service. Feel like we were taken cared of by an uncle. There are not many options for non-bread cuisine yet you would not go wrong with this menu. We chose the pork belly and chicken keto, they were super delightful😊 highly recommended 😄

We were instantly made to fell welcome and that nothing was too much of a bother for them. The owner/staff were very friendly and accommodating. I love the decor, very relaxing fresh and clean. The food is freshly cooked and absolutely delicious. We came back a 2nd day for breakfast but arrived abit before opening but the owner saw us and invited us in to sit and wait with a cup of tea Amazon service. If we come back to Lewes again we will definitely be back to try more on their menu. Highly recommend this place if you get a chance.

Absolutely superb. Best cafe in Lewes. Danny and his team are so friendly and helpful. The food is all made from scratch on the premises, and it’s filling and delicious. We had a pork poke bowl, tofu poke bowl, chai latte, lemon and ginger tea, raspberry brownie, and a lemon and ginger flapjack. Highly recommended and a must do when you’re in Lewes. Thank you for making our day so special.

Couldn’t fault it. We stayed in Lewes for the weekend recently and had brunch at The Sip. The customer service was 10/10 - we were made to feel really welcome and like nothing was too much trouble. Best English breakfast we’ve had in ages!

A really tasty lunch, and super welcoming staff! The Poke Bowls were incredible. We cycled through Lewes. We were hungry and wet from the rain and the manager made space for our bikes at the front and gave us towels to dry off. Definitely recommend a visit!

The tofu poke bowl was incredible and full of healthy veggies! We came back the day after to get it again. Plus the staff is SO friendly and welcoming!

Massive fan of this café. Staff are very friendly, the food is excellent, both the breakfasts & lunches. The coffee is from a local roastery & is great. The venue is very dog friendly. I cannot recommend visiting this café enough.

Most amazing lunch here! As soon as we arrived we were greeted with a smile, given recommendations for items off the menu. The food was outstanding - looked beautiful and tasted even better. Danny was out server and he was super attentive and helpful and knowledgeable. Would recommend to anyone nearby or visiting Lewes. We will be back!

Popped in for breakfast while staying in Lewes. Wow! The full English was amazing. Huge portion and piping hot and fresh. Service was fantastic. We were instantly made to feel very welcome. I would absolutely recommend a visit to this delightful cafe.

BLT delicious, plenty of thick, well cooked bacon. Mum had one of the specials...chicken skewers. Good size portions, delicious.
Mum and Dad are cappuccino addicts and thought the coffees here had the best flavour they'd tasted anywhere.
Lovely waiter, very friendly and bubbly.

OMG what a fabulous restaurant! Food is delicious, fresh and a taste sensation. Staff are extremely friendly, attentive and kind. It’s a pure gem of a place, I was recommended to visit, and I’m delighted I did. I’ve been back several times. Always a pleasure. Give it a go you won’t be disappointed.

The food was excellent, at good fair prices with a lovely server too! Definitely best is lewes!

Had a lunch date here on Saturday, we were just walking past and took a chance.
Danny was so lovely, nothing was too much trouble.
Nice atmosphere and comfortable environment to just sit and be in. Wasn’t rushed or hassled to decide or finish up. Lunch was fresh, quick and delicious. Danny knew the menu and what would be good for what we fancied, I mean all of it, but he talked us through it all. Great value too.
Will definitely be back.

Very welcoming, clean, comfy and delicious. My dog is the happiest of all having been given a big bowl of sausage too.

Amazing cafe - fully recommend it. Danny was a great host and the food delicious. The atmosphere was lovely and welcoming. Fresh salads and great sarnies, and home made soups. All reasonable too.

Amazing place - cannot recommend highly enough. Outstanding food, and some of the best staff that I have ever had the pleasure of being served by.

Really good food, cooked to order, very generous helpings. Great range of fresh vegetables in the salads. Extremely helpful service, offering alternatives for menu items not available. Only in Lewes for a day trip but would want to eat here regularly if we lived here!
