New Inn

We came to the New Inn on the strength of previous reviews. We were not disappointed. The Sunday roast, pork with crackling, was excellent and accompanied by a varied selection of veggies. Which included cheesy leeks, the apple sauce was home made as was the meaty gravy👍
The staff were really friendly & attentive, just a good all round experience and excellent value. Thank you so much 😋

We were a large family group in for dinner so had booked in advance. The service and the food were superb, as was the atmosphere in the pub. The menu had some good pub grub stalwarts and also some interesting specials, all freshly prepared. Everyone enjoyed their meals and our children were also well catered for and their food came really nice and quickly. Highly recommend a meal at the New Inn.

A delightful pub ..actually an outstanding traditional pub full of charm and character.
Beer excellent as was the food.
Run by 2 sisters who could not be more helpful or friendly. A real gem of a place.

What a fantastic place, it's an old building which is a pub, restaurant entertainment room.
There is a bar area in 2 of the rooms with a great range of alcoholic drinks and soft drinks available at both. The place has a lot of ambience, feeling and history. Service is great as are the food and drink available. There is a reasonable size downstairs room for showing films and putting on music. The kitchen and loos are downstairs also!
There is an outside area for drinks and food, good to have. All in all it's a great pub and I rate it 100%

Beautiful old pub

Don't be decieved by its roadside appearance. This is a beautiful local pub with hearty, perfectly cooked food and good portions to boot.

It's late February, so it was very quiet but expect it to be busy once the tourist season gets underway.

Years of local knowledge and a friendly welcome from the Landladies was great.

P.S my wife is still talking about the salad. DELICIOUS

Most enjoyable shoot dinner last night, Venison Pie was delicious, large selection of vegetables and ginger tart + a sublime cheeseboard to follow.
Friendly, efficient service and a lovely atmosphere in this pub.
