Accommodated us when we broke down. They stayed open longer than they should have for us. Such friendly people. The food was awesome too 👌. Highly recommend. I will be back again with the kids. Can't thank them enough.

We visited here last week as we were looking for a dog friendly pub to refuel at before our dog's appointment at The Eye Clinic.
We received a warm welcome in a lovely relaxing environment. The food was delicious 😋 & there were no leftovers for Mavis despite her being especially attentive 🤣

We visited as a family with 3 children for dinner. Both Jed and Allie were friendly and welcoming, and the food was excellent.

WOW... Called in around 7:30pm on a Friday night looking for a meal with the kids. The staff/owners couldn't have been more welcoming and helpful. 2 kids had freshly hand made pizza with beautiful ham and fresh tomatoes. Hubby had a double lamb burger with cheese, chips and a side of mushrooms and I had beef chilli with half and half chios and rice. It was all out of this world and we're all stuffed. Bonus was half way through eating, having a live guitar and penny whistle playing. Such an amazing atmosphere 😍

We had a lovely evening and fantastic meal , local produce used as much as can be. Very accommodating with the menu if you wanted to mix and match. All cooked fresh to order.
Lovely pub.

Friendly atmosphere and all the food is cooked from scratch which allows for variations to take account of allergies. The chef was very accommodating and I got three delicious courses.

I have visited the Monkland Arms on many occasions since Allie and Jed took over and have always been impressed by the warm welcome and friendly staff. Very dog friendly too! There is an excellent selection of ales and ciders and the menu is extensive and very good value for money. Well worth a visit! (Very good Covid arrangements too, at the time).

Booked for a meal here with the family after driving past. Really welcoming and lovely homemade food. Came back the next day for another meal - really enjoyed it again. If we're ever in the area again would not hesitate to visit again.

Lovely ambience and great service. Food is delicious, nothing to fault it. We had small grandchildren with us, and they were made welcome. There were even board games for the children, a great hit!. Very friendly staff and lovely interesting art and curios around the place. Highly recommended.

We had our 30th wedding anniversary meal here whilst on holiday. The decor was well thought out and the ambience was very pleasant. The menu was simple but had a good selection. The meal was excellent, very tasty and the service was exceptional. We will definitely go again .

Very nice place. Great staff, good beer, live music of a high calibre and good food too. Lovely beer garden. The place has been shut for a while and the new landlord is determined to make it work

The Sunday lunch was well above average but the real reason I will go back is the selection of local ciders. Gwatkins Stoke Red was particularly delicious, intense apple nectar flavour, neither too sweet nor dry, alive with yeast goodness, a bit on the strong side (6%). Staff was very attentive and helpful.

Stopped here on the way to/from Anglesey. A very friendly village pub with an excellent selection of local beers and spirits and a fine menu of home cooked dishes, all at very reasonable prices. Would definitely return if in the area.

We went to the Monkland Arms for the first time as a party of 5. The place had a welcoming feel to it and the staff were both pleasant and helpful. There was a good selection of drinks and I sampled the Ludlow blonde ale which was great.
There were other local Herefordshire ales available as well.
Attached to the wall on wooden chalkboards was a varied food menu, including the normal sunday roasts, swordfish steak, gnocchi (vegetarian), soup of the day (minestrone or cumin and spiced butternut squash), there were other choices on the menu and a variety of desserts. All of the food was cooked brilliantly, homemade and fresh and we all enjoyed it. We will be looking forwards for the opportunity to come back again!
