The burger was cooked to perfection, friendly staff and lovely quiet pub. Desert was presented beautifully, the fruit used was fresh and sweet. Overall a nice little place to have a relaxed afternoon and I'm leaving with a full stomach 😊

I popped in and had a meal in here when I was cycling between Bromsgrove and Hay. I had a lovely hearty steak with a nice pint to wash it down with. I was a little bit early but the staff were very friendly and accommodating.

Went he for lunch, never been before. Menu wasn't huge but we all found something nice to eat. Young lady running the bar was very friendly, 5 tables occupied, nice atmosphere. Will definitely be going there again.

Excellent food! Swift service, without being rushed. Nice atmosphere and lovely village setting. All that a traditional village pub should be. Some of these big chain companies could learn a thing or two.
Well done to all your team.
Sunday roast was amazing, as were the puds! (We were a table for 10, with Jill, Dave, Toby & Linda.) Thanks again! 👍👍👍

On a hot summer ☀ day you can chill out in the garden enjoying tasty ice cream 🍦 or well chilled pint.
Good pub to visit although we only came for few drinks and ice-cream so cannot comment on the meals.

A wonderful place to eat divine Italian food of superior quality. We were delighted to be able to sit outside under a huge marquee, feeling very safe, but protected in case it rained. Thoroughly enjoyed the amazing food and attentive service.

The social distancing was excellent, the food was great and the atmosphere was very friendly. I had the bacon and brie ciabatta and my wife had fish and chips, both were excellent. My son wanted the whitebait starter as a main which they happily did for us, and as the portion size is large he was very satisfied. All in all we will go again.

This gorgeous village pub in Dilwyn is well worth a visit (and many more visits.) The food is absolutely amazing, cooked by the great Chef Max and on front of house is his Lovely partner Maria. As I am local it was natural I would come here but after many years of waiting for great leadership it has finally arrived. I brought my gran here who is an extremely fussy eater and she absolutely loved it and and has asked to come back several times (great achievement for someone who makes a complaint at every meal out)
Their takeaways are also fantastic which has been great during this recent lockdown. Maria and Max also have have amazing staff and the whole team has created a wonderful atmosphere. Everyone is welcomed with delight whether local or not.

A nice place in a wonderful village with amazing people. The chef is a very good Italian cooker and prepare beautiful meals. If you stop here, taste the food with one of the very good beers, you'll just enjoy.

What a fabulous, archetypal, village pub this is. The staff were really friendly and helpful; the menu was not massive but very thoughtful. The food was exceptional. You should try it.

Fantastic pub with wonderful owners and staff. Went here each day of our stay in the village. We ate here twice and the food was of great quality and very reasonable. The locals are very friendly and all were only too happy to engage in conversation.
