Everything & more from one of the most quintessential british pubs you may ever wish to visit. It really is not trying to be anything other than what it is. It offers a warm welcome, a great bar offering a range of fab beers & wines. The food offered is all home cooked & above average in terms of quality, quantity & value. Yes, it's dated but that doesn't detract from the overall experience, in fact I think it's all part of a charming offer. Dogs are also warmly welcomed.

Lovely old fashioned classic pub, was looking for somewhere dog friendly to take my puppy. The food was absolutely delicious, I had a bacon Brie and cranberry baguette and my mum had the steak pudding. It was cooked fresh to order and was so tasty at a very reasonable price. Will definitely be back again.

Nice cosy pub with good food. Dog friendly too - they provided a water bowl and a sausage treat. We stopped here for lunch while we charged our car in the nearby car park. Land lady was friendly and helpful. We visited once before when we were on holiday in the area, we will be back if we're ever passing that way again.

Absolutely lovely staff here, 8 of us helpfully turned up without booking but they still squeezed us in. Went for a pint (have Ludlow beers on tap) and the food looked so good we all got dinner there. Really creamy fish pie, very warming. Also have a huge range of gins, definitely worth a try!

Fantastic hosts and staff, great Sunday lunch (despite lockdown rules) with a friend, a traditional pub and eatery that has kept going. Good luck to Phil & Julie, support them if you can. Been our regular for the 4 years since we moved here, tried all of the others, nothing compares.

What a lovely, friendly pub.
Not being local you are always a bit apprehensive about entering an unfamiliar pub but I couldn't have been more wrong.
The locals were friendly and the barmiad, Stacey was a wonderful asset for the pub.

All in all an extremely good night and I will definitely call in again the next time I'm in town.

A lot of unique pubs are disappearing so it's always special when you come across one. The Grapes is a fantastic little pub that does wonderful food to be enjoyed in front of an open fire. Nothing beats a Sunday afternoon watching a live band here.
