Great little place. Most pubs were either closed or closing in the town. Really nice locals who were happy to chat. Good beer and reasonably priced wine. Will go back.

Great small bar with so much choice of cask, craft & keg ales. Well stocked warm & welcoming.
Watch for the hours of opening!
After a longish walk spent a very pleasant late afternoon enjoying excellent pints of cask!
Well worth finding & enjoying a great pub.

The longe and back room are small and cozy. Great guest beers, no wonder my Son in law take me there for a pint when we visit Whaley.

Friendly and atmospheric micro pub, run by Phil and Wendy. Always feel welcome, it may be small, but that's not a bad thing. Still plenty of room, excellent choice of drinks, and a chatty place to meet up. Highly recommended.

Very friendly, great service with helpful staff. Quirky locals who are more than happy to share local knowledge. Extensive range of ever changing exceptional beer, mainly from local small breweries. Good music. Altogether, a great venue!😃

We received a warm welcome from the owners on our visit in July, which was our first as the place had only recently reopened after lockdown. It was clear from the offset that the landlord's knowledge of all his stock was extensive and he had stocked his bar accordingly. To the delight of my beer-loving companions, there was a wide range of top quality craft ales on offer: enough to make any CAMRA member turn cartwheels of joy, apparently. The Eyam brewery plum porter that I tried was particularly delicious. I also discovered that the landlord is something of an expert on rum, which made my day.
The homely informal decor is simultaneously snuggly and hip, with the walls adorned with artworks by locals and the background music broad-ranging and exceptionally good (any place which includes Pink Floyd has my vote). The ladies' loo was clean and well stocked with essentials, and whilst social distancing in COVID times is hard to maintain in such a small space, the owners had clearly taken every step to keep customers safe, with two doors open to create constant airflow, and a hand sanitiser dispenser on the wall in the back room. We chatted with the landlord and landlady for quite a while and found them to be very friendly and accommodating, and they were clearly much-loved by the obvious regulars in the bar. All in all, this bijou gem of a place was an instant hit with us and seems destined to be a firm favourite in future.

Comfortable little pub with a great selection of beer and gin. Also locals who won't let you walk past without popping in for a pint!

My favourite drinking place in Whaley Bridge. Mike is delightful and beers are quite simply outstanding.
Add to that the competitive pricing and splendid setting, it's a sure fire winner.

Top little taproom. And yes, little.
A reasonable range of local(ish) beers plus a wall of gins.

This tiny yet tidy little space also has various rock and pop artwork for sale.
