Great Location. Beer well kept, and meals excellent. 8 men on a home made boating trip, cold wet, tired and hungry. We were made to feel very welcome indeed. Would definitely recommend a visit.
Ps. If anybody finds an oak paddle floating nearby, we would love to be reunited with it.
Very, very welcoming staff. Try it.

I wish I could give more stars for the Navigation it definitely deserves more stars.
We stopped for dinner we had tuna and red onion sandwich. Mozzarella and tomato hot sandwich and the fish finger sandwich, they came with fries and salad on the hot sandwich and crisps and salad on the cold and wow they were so full absolutely value for money.
The guy behind the bar was super funny and made us feel so welcome such a nice guy.
The lovely young lady who served our food was so polite and she was lovely too,I would HIGHLY recommend calling here you will not be disappointed, thanks Navigation for a lovely afternoon xx

Clean, friendly bar situated in a canal basin. Outdoor seating and a decent pint of John Smith's. Has two meals there. Scampi and chips and steak and kidney pie. Both were excellent and good portions. Staff very friendly.

Just a short walk from Bugsworth basin on the canal, this is a delightful pub with well kept ales and a nice range of seating areas inside plus a sunny terrace with some cover outside. Food menu looks good too, and provides even just a bowl of - beautifully hand cut and home cooked - chips to go with a pint in the sunshine.

Made an early lunch stop at the Navigation in a great spot at Bugsworth Basin. I had a fish finger sandwich - a home made haddock finger with mushy peas and tartare sauce.
A family friendly atmosphere at the tables outside with local and longer distance walkers and cyclists. Friendly cheery service too added to this. Recommended.

Great welcome and location, planned to meet up with friends who were touring on the canal. The Navigation Inn sits right on the Bugsworth Basin. We planned to stay over in our motor-home and the Navigation Inn were more than happy to accommodate us in their car park. (phone in advance) all they ask is some custom in the Bar etc. We booked a table for our friends and ourselves (7 in total). Grabbed a drink at the bar, then went to the table, all very prompt and the staff were great, due to a staff issue they only had a limited menu, but you wouldn't have known there was loads of choice ! All food served together and piping hot, except the Caesar salad ;-) which a friend had and I had plate envy ! It was amazing. Lovely staff, great food, great value and big selection of drinks. Thank you !

Nice place to sit and have a drink and something to eat. Right next to the canal. We had soup of the day, which could've been warmer, but it was OK.

Excellent location right next to the canal. Lots of customer parking. Lots of indoor outdoor and outdoor covered seating available. Good menu to choose from with the Sunday carvery being particularly nice with very large portions and lots of variety to choose from so far as the sides are concerned. Staff very friendly and helpful. Would 100% go again on a visit to the area.

Quite remote but well worth the effort to pay visit to this excellent pub. Good choice of good quality real ales. The food is also excellent and plentiful so you need a good appetite. Very friendly staff and scenic views - we will certainly consider a return visit.
