A popular local tea room/cafe. The staff were friendly and welcoming and the food was tasty. There was a large selection of cakes that probably need more visits to fully appreciate 😄

Recommended by a local shop for breakfast. We had a sandwich, coffee and took a cake away. Very friendly staff, lovely atmosphere and tasty food. Thank you.

Owners and staff very friendly and efficient. Cappuccino best in Melton and the best gluten free victoria sandwich cake I have ever tasted.

Great little place. Kind and welcoming to my assistance dog 🐕‍🦺. We had to dash off. They kindly put the remaining hot chocolate in a takeaway cup for my grandson. Due to steps, I had to park my wheelchair outside. Thank heaven I am ambulatory or we couldn't have got inside. There were tables and chairs outside, but it was too cold and rainy to use them.

Service is pleasant and staff very polite.

The place got a good range of tea or speciality tea and coffee cakess and sandwiches or toasties.

Experience was pleasant and will come bck for more.

The coffee is absolute perfection, their flapjack is the best I've ever tasted and as for the sausage and stilton panini AMAZING!
Highly recommend a visit.

Lovely coffee place, great food. My boyfriend had a "Melton plate" which he very much enjoyed and is particularly good value for money. Ample selection of sandwiches/toasties/paninis at a reasonable price. Very friendly staff, highly recommended.

A special cafe to me for so many reasons. A quiet, friendly cafe on the edge of the town centre. Well worth a visit if you are in Town. I love the salads and a beautiful strawberry pavlova to finish. Special as I spent many a day here with my friend during her illness which holds precious memories I will forever treasure. The staff are warm, welcoming and friendly. Definitely pop in if you are heading to Melton. They do take away too

We always receive a friendly welcome from the staff. The food is delicious, freshly made and a favourite place of mine for lunch. Chicken mayo sandwich on delicious brown bread is my go to. We'll be back soon. Thank you!

Had a fantastic first visit to Off The Beaten Path this week. Food was delicious and freshly prepared, service was very friendly and helpful and the cafe had a lively atmosphere about it. The Victoria sponge was out of this world too! Highly recommend

Great food, great cake, friendly and fun service

Discovered by stopping off on the way home for somewhere to stretch our legs and grab a decent coffee, ended up having coffee and a beautiful Victoria sandwich cake. Spotlessly clean and very welcoming staff, wouldn't hesitate to call back in if we are passing again. Don't visit the chain shop coffee shops, support the independents, especially this one if you are in the area. Thank you

First time visit with a friend just for a coffee and Bakewell tart and really enjoyed the experience! So much so that the next day I re-visited by myself for lunch. I ordered spicy chicken salad which was DELICIOUS! 5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐!
I am lactose intolerant so really appreciate the wide choice of non-dairy milks for my DELICIOUS latte coffee.
Although I was quite full after the salad and coffee, I weakened and had a huge slice of carrot and orange cake. Absolutely DELICIOUS - I’ve used this word a lot! Much deserved. Thank you and I’ll be back!

Visited here today unexpectedly, as literally, as a Friend and I came across this delightful Cafe; as its named, 'Off the Beaten Path'.
Great food, the coleslaw was homemade and to die for, very rare would I say that...
The Staff were polite, attentive and professional. The atmosphere calm and easy, what a find! Go visit I think you wont be disappointed...

This place is an absolute must, gorgeous cakes and the smarties cheesecake was out of this world. The staff are really friendly, would definitely recommend.
