Excellent. Found it by accident whilst visiting the market and can't fault it. Great menu with a good selection of food and drink. We had the full English and omelette, both were superb - obviously freshly cooked and done really well. The pot of tea for 2 was proper Yorkshire teabags too. Definitely will be back.

Excellent menu catering for dietary needs - wonderful gluten free breakfast including gluten free sausages.

Stumbled in by accident looking for a quick sandwich after a morning walk. We were originally going to take away but the food was super quick so we ate in. Staff were super friendly as were the locals sitting inside. They've got a box of toys for little ones which kept my son nice and busy - felt very family friendly.

Beautiful decor, fantastic value and large portions.

They are very accommodating such as in the breakfast being able to make substitutions.

Quality of the food was great and staff were happy to have a laugh and chat.

We arrived hungry on a quiet Monday morning.. and the place had few customers. The breakfast menu looks really good with plenty of healthy choices. We particularly liked the light breakfast options and the choice of bread (granary, sourdough or white). I had what was described in the menu as 'Oat cakes' but in fact they were oat pancakes with cheese, mushroom and bacon filling and they were delicious! The coffees are good too and the staff helpful and efficient. One place I would recommend and visit again when we're next in town.

Lovely cafe! Perfect for a cooked breakfast. Very welcoming staff. Immaculate toilets. Couldn't do more for us, very homely and food was spot on

Absolute 5 star place! Had some early brunch with perfectly poached eggs and fresh tasty sourdough, so yum! Materials and cooking were great. Service also great, responsive and happy to tailor the order. Nice, well- lit seating area next to a big window with views of the square. Fresh flowers on the table are always a bonus too. Really impressed!

Decided to stop for breakfast on way home, asked a taxi driver for recommendation and he said this place, without hesitation. He was right, it's fabulous!

Love this place - it looks very unprepossessing on the outside, but you’re missing a trick if you don’t go in! Really excellent choice of food, and has lots of veggie/vegan options too. They’re very accommodating if you want to substitute menu items, and don’t make you feel like you’re being awkward, the portion sizes are great, the prices very fair, and the staff are lovely (and bonkers - in a good way!) We’ve been about 4 times over the last couple of months and have not had a duff plate of food. Would definitely recommend :-)

A great cafe for traditional and varied breakfast with friendly staff, chatty and accommodating owner, tasty food, and a relaxing unhurried atmosphere. Highly recommended.

Dog friendly and a great menu selection. Very friendly staff that are happy to help. Such as turning the avocado vegan breakfast choice, into the perfect bacon n egg topped wonder.!

Really lovely cafe we found last minute in the town centre of Buxton. They had a great menu selection and we opted for a full English breakfast with a tea and mocha. The staff were super nice and accommodating. Highly recommend if you are in the area.

We got two vegan breakfasts. Really nice and large portions. I highly recommend going here for breakfast but it's busy, we got the last table on a Saturday morning so get there early. You can also get takeaway food. The coffee was delicious and the staff were friendly. Can't ask for more

Great food! Theres vegetarian and vegan options as well which were great! Staff were very friendly and attentive. We had children with us and they offered books, toys for the children to play with while waiting for our order.

Cracking little cafe which seems to get the balance right between a traditional cafe and more modern 'continental style' cafe. Prices seem very reasonable compared to a lot of the others in Buxton and the young woman who served me was very friendly. The fact that you can 'mix and match' the breakfast items was a plus.
Me and my wife were staying overnight in Buxton and neither us know the town but I think we made the right choice choosing this place for breakfast
