The Pavilion Café

Today at the Cafe, we found a truly amazing space, we enjoyed a undisturbed opportunity to view a whole range of hand crafted artisan gifts displayed in the craft shop then drunk a really smooth coffee latte (3 “large” lattes £3.20 each), served in proper mug and felt great benefit from the opportunity to rest and relax before our visit to the Theatre. A really valuable gem of a place. I have every intention to revisit soon and recommend it highly to anyone who I might know would appreciate this special space …. And this I hope, might include you !

Wasn't planning a visit but the A-Board saying Pizzas drew us in.

It was a very sunny and busy day in the park, there was a bit of a queue but it went down quickly enough. Thankfully the orders for pizzas were being taken towards the back of the queue so when I got to the till they were well on their way to being ready.

Very reasonably priced for the quality of the pizza, and cooked perfectly, a well do and crispy thin base with a load of perfectly melted cheese on the top.

Salami seemed a strange choice for the topping but it worked well, the pizzas are easily big enough to satisfy 2 people so for £18 we had a filling lunch.

Really impressed, will definately be back.

Great breakfast

Lovely food and lovely staff. We ordered a goats cheese and beetroot tart and a steak and stilton ciabatta. The service was very quick and the food was piping hot and delicious. Very good prices for homemade food.

Friendly staff, a menu with lots of locally grown produce included in their dishes and nice surroundings. All combined to make for a great visit. The kids enjoyed playing a while in their soft play area too. Really convenient for the Opera House, gardens and swimming pool not to mention the shops in Buxton town centre which are just a few minutes walk away.

I've been recommend this place by my colleague and I don't regret. It is just next to the pavilion garden and only few minutes from the town center. It offers a big menu where is difficult to choose because everything sounds good. We had tasty sandwiches that surprised us with the size. Definitely it's a good place to visit and have either relaxing cup of tea with some cake or soup and sandwich for lunch.

Everything had been refurbished since I last visited the cafe. It is now linked with the restaurant and gas bench type seating. Clean and tidy with lovely friendly and helpful staff .

Visited on a bank holiday. It was fast and friendly service with exactly what we needed for a snack as a group with young kids. Can’t understand the negative reviews.

Very good and there are art exhibits to see and an amazing gin bar, bought some lovely gifts and all around a lovely cafe.

Is only open for takeaway food only because of tier 3 restrictions. Staff were friendly and helpful and the cheese and mushroom toastie was mouth-watering
