Literally stood outside the shop as typing this... awesome shop with more or less anything you could need or want, from carp fishing to just leisure fishing and also sports! Very helpful and friendly staff too.

Went in having not fished for over 15 years. I couldn’t of asked for a better services from the gentleman that served me. This was on the back of email queries that were quickly responded to in a manner that made my custom feel valued. I felt that I left the shop with everything that I needed and some good local knowledge as well. It’s family run shops like this that need to survive as you just don’t get the same level of service and attention at the larger more corporate outlets. Needless to say a very positive experience and I will definitely be returning when I need to upgrade and add to my tackle.

Helpful tackle shop with easy parking

I was looking for a budget air rifle to deal with a rat problem in the garden, bought a Remington Express Xp.
Great price, a quality item and on collection great advice from very knowledgeable staff.
Oh and after zeroing the sights the biggest rat which refused to eat poison ate some lead pellet.

This is a local fishing tackle store where you not only buy good products but also get friendly advice from experienced fishermen. Nothing is too much trouble and the prices are very competotive compated with other fishing tackle retailers. It's worth supporting local stores otherwise they will go out of business, and there ate very few fishing stockists around these days.

Jakeman sports helped me on my first purchase, from finding the gun to delivering it. Absolutely lovely bit of kit - weight is perfect and power is enough for me. Highly recommended.
