It’s a lovely clean place with descent food and a good quantity too. The Service is up to the mark. Will be visiting again for sure. Keep up the good work guys well done.

A real treat! We came as a family, including a six year old, for a nice breakfast out and really enjoyed our meals (including several great gluten free options). The staff were lovely as well!

Having visited multiple time we were not disappointed. Had the vegetarian breakfast and it was superb. Really good portions and very high quality ingredients. Often can be difficult to get good breakfasts. Loved it! Service was fantastic as well (Jenny) and the venue itself is really well maintained and lovely to be in.

Lovely converted old library with seating outside for dog owners . Some tables have large parasols ( ideal for inclement weather ).
Dominic , our server was courteous and very friendly ( advising us of a forty minute wait for food service ), which only turned out to be fifteen minutes.

Chose the Ploughman’s Sandwich , a super twist on the conventional ploughman’s - pulled ham hock with salad leaves , tomato’s, cheese and a delicious chutney.
Accompanied with a mini pork pie, ramekin of pickle onions, homemade Apple coleslaw , and large seasoned potato wedges .

Good value for money and ideal for a lunch time meal .

Service was excellent , and managed to get a table as other diners left ( was quite busy for a Saturday afternoon- not sure if booking is judicious, especially if you want to sit inside ).
Overall We enjoyed our meal and the service we received.

Very good place to eat, we were a mixed party of adults and one child. Two adults are vegan, one is veggie and all we're easily accommodated.
Good choice of beers too.

Lovely Brunch, had to wait, but ti ne fair it was packed,,probably because the food was so nice, and the staff were very nice and tentative. Definitely recommend trying. Outside area to eat also.

Called in on a Saturday morning. Greeted by a very friendly waitress who showed us to a table. My daughter and myself both had a Sourdough bacon & mushroom sandwich with tomato relish which was absolutely delicious. Will definitely be back and would recommend. The staff were very helpful.

We chose Fables as our wedding reception venue- and we weren't disappointed. The fables team worked so hard for us- everything was perfect- so many comments on the fantastic buffet, they decorated with the bits and bobs we supplied, the atmosphere was fantastic. Would highly recommend Fables for special events- or just a coffee in the week. Michelle and the team are spectacular. Mr and Mrs Benson x

Probably the nicest afternoon tea we’ve ever had in every sense 👌🏻 what a fantastic place and great that they cater well to GF. Bravo

Amazing! I ordered a Vegan Biscoff cake for my friends birthday, and it came out better than expected. The lady baking it went above and beyond to satisfy my wishes! Gonna visit it again, Highly recommend ❤🤗

Never disappointed with food every plate that comes out the kitchen is well presented and looks amazing! Cakes are all homemade it’s difficult to choose between them.Their signature cinnamon buns freshly baked every day are devine… thank god I don’t live nearer I’d be the size of a house haha
On the odd occasion you can wait a bit longer for your coffee but that’s the only negative! It’s all worth the wait! Jayne and Chris

Came to fables for breakfast for the first time. Was waiting a while but don't let it put you off as its worth the wait! Nice to see a place do so well! Food was amazing, best cooked breakfast and ice coffee had by both of us! 10/10 can't wait to come back

As Australian's, we know our coffee. And this coffee house served us one of the nicest coffees we've drunk, since we arrived in England 2 months ago....oh, and do try a piece of their triple chocolate stuffed cookie pie, OMG, delicious 😋 😍

Good lunch. We enjoyed a feta salad and salmon pasta. Nice flavours. Service was very good. It’s a really nice welcoming place. Good ‘clean’ measures in place. We will do cakes next time. They also have a range of treats, condiments & flour for sale. Busy and popular.

An absolutely lovely meal with excellent service from friendly staff. The vegan option was delicious as was the vegetarian one.

This coffeehouse was amazing. All the normal things - service, wait time, etc was as expected. But the decor and food were impeccable! I ordered the ‘Fluffy American Pancakes’ and was blown away. They were easily the best pancakes I have ever had. They came with two sides (I personally chose bacon and maple syrup) and lots of options. 5 stars all round!
