Sherwood Pines Cafe

We ate lunch at the cafe twice, accompanied by y our dog. We sat on the patio outside. The staff were friendly and very efficient, while the food was delicious and reasonably priced. We can recommend the hunters chicken baguette and tuna & sweetcorn jackets. The surrounding forest area is ideal for exploring with family.

Really nice food at good prices considering the location. We visited a couple of times whilst staying in the area. It is also dog friendly on the decking area!

Great outdoor sitting space and food &drink choice. Good for kids and dogs. Can be to busy at times.

Lovely cafe, pleasant staff. Popular at weekends. Lots of choice-Breakfasts, snacks-sausage rolls, pizza etc. Cake, scones. Lunches-baked potatoes, soup, paninis etc. Lovely hot chocolate, coffee etc. Decking area outside-dogs allowed on decking. Nice view.

Tasty food to fuel your walk/hike/climb/ride. The extensive menu offers something for everyone and pre-prepared sandwiches/baguettes are well labelled for dietary restrictions.

Lovely little cafe. Not too expensive a D food was excellent.

Great bike ride on the kitchener trail stopped off at the bike park for some dirt jumps. The downhill section of the bike park was excellent and we went round several times. Overall great day topped off by lovely sausage cob at the cafe.

What a gorgeous place set in lovely surroundings.
My partner and I were staying at the campsite adjacent and called in for lunch.
We chose to sit outdoors on the balcony, beautiful.
My partner is in a wheelchair and the girls running the cafe could not have been more helpful, opening doors and moving chairs to clear the way for us, thank you.
We ordered a couple of jacket potatoes with beans and cheese, which sounds ok? Couldn’t believe how nice it was when it arrived! Beautifully presented with side salad and balsamic, absolutely perfect!
It was so nice, we’re going camping again Tues and Weds and will definitely be visiting the cafe a few times for some more jackets!!

Quality and quantity of the main course was beyond my expectations. Not expensive either. Highly recommend!

Lovely rangers breakfast this morning at sherwood pines cafe, filled us up for a day's walking

Great stop off after a bike ride or playing in the woods. We regularly pop in for a hot chocolate or one of their amazing sandwiches. The staff are lovely too

Friendliest staff in any cafe I've been in ever (52 years old ). Menu not actually large but excellent tasting breakfast, several excellent main courses n top top sausage rolls meat or vegan. Nothing better than lunch on the verandah deck before hitting the trails on a warm sunny afternoon. Highly recommended!

New year's day walk. A truly wonderful sausage cob along with chips a sausage roll and an egg and sausage cob. 4 mugs of tea. Perfect!!

Lovely cafe, always has a good selection of cakes and snacks. Coffee also very good. We sat outside on the deck under a heater which was much appreciated. Very nice staff here.

Lovely chilled out spot

Good food, served quite quickly. The menu is available online. Food was all nice, even my picky kids cleared their plates. The selection of cakes looked very nice.

Lovely place to go, very friendly staff, easy to get to and with a varied menu as well. Perfect location for a walk with family, or on your own, cafe is ideally located near to the car park as well.

Our 1st Visit to the newly opened Sherwood Pines Campsite. Excellent & we will certainly be coming back. The Forest Cafe serves excellent food & the Best Oat Milk Latte, I had to keep going back. It gets very busy & had to Queue & the Staff are very friendly. 5☆
