Coffee#1 Swindon

First time in this coffee shop and will happily go back. The cinnamon roll and peanut butter hot chocolate with oat milk was divine. Like a hug in a cup.

I enjoyed a double espresso of the house blend (chocolate with hints of treacle I think, but correct me if I’m wrong!). Loved the aesthetics of the place (quotes and prints on the walls taken from famous works of literature). Would come back!

I cannot think of any other coffee shop where I feel more at home than Coffee #1 at Swindon. I have consistently found all the staff to be friendly, welcoming and helpful, even at their busiest times. In particular, the blonde lady behind the counter is a person for whom the customer always comes first. She is, without fail, always cheery, courteous, kind, caring and helpful; furthermore, she is very knowledgeable about the variety of coffees and food available. She is an exemplar of what excellence in customer service should be. It is because of the friendly and competent staff, the great quality of the coffee, coupled with the character and atmosphere of the place that it makes the whole experience of visiting Coffee #1 Swindon an absolute delight; and that is why I am a regular customer.

The coffee is great and the staff are chatty and friendly. Love the current seasonal coffee on offer. Had a big mug of it today!

Also, a lovely member of staff, when clearing a table, realised the customers who'd just left had forgotten some paperwork.
She dutifully dashed out after them to hand them their documents!

Wonderful food and staff, great atmosphere with quirky feel-good quotes painted all over the walls. Perfect for a relaxing lunch in the middle of a town centre.

One of the best cafes in Swindon. A lovely selection of cakes, pastries and sandwiches/paninis to go with their delicious coffee. Add to the lovely interior and it's the perfect place to meet with friends or read a book.

We always get our coffee from this West country independent. Coffee got a great flavour. It's a tad stronger than Costa.

Come to coffee#1 regularly, and it's always exemplary service. The staff are always friendly and talkative, and the coffee is made with the freshest beans - would recommend over Costa ir Starbucks any day

Lovely coffee shop. Down to earth and friendly staff, I see customers speak to them as if they are robots there to serve them, and they still manage to smile throughout it all.

A shame I haven't been able to sit in some days this week, but understandably there are maintenance problems over the busy period. My go to for a vanilla latte and loaf cake.

Love this place. Great atmosphere and friendly staff. Has amazing almond croissants and tea cakes that must be seen and tried. Been a while since this post but still love this place. Anywhere dogs are allowed is a good place for me.

I really enjoy my visits to coffee#1 but so do a lot of other people, which makes it difficult to get a table outside, ok! So that's my one complaint, its far to good, which makes it far to popular 🤔
I find all the staff are nice, but two of the ladies in particular seem to smile a bit wider and are very helpful when helping me pick what I want to drink, as It seems to be a decision I struggle with.

I’ve been coming here a couple of weeks now and feel it’s the right time to make a comment. I love this place. Friendly staff (generally get served by Jordan) and it’s always clean and tidy.. The coffee seems to be stronger here which I like, See you again soon

Great coffee shop make great hot chocolate

Such a lovely cosy little coffee shop. So many seating so you don't have to worry about whether it would be too crowded. The flat breads are yummy and the pumpkin spice latte is lovely. Sofas too! Bring a book and relax!

Great coffee and very comfortable armchairs and sofas upstairs. A big advantage over some other places is that it's less noisy, especially upstairs. Convenient, central location, right in the middle of the town centre shopping area.
