Quarry Farm Shop

So pleased we found this great butcher whilst staying in eardisland. Absolutely the best butcher I have ever used. Visited three times in three days. Great meat, lovely staff and dare I say very reasonably priced . We were very surprised.
We will definitely be back , if just to buy meat.

Oh my, the absolute best sausage roll ever!!! That alone would make it worth it to shop there, but wait, there's more. The meat and pie displays alone make it difficult to choose. I can plan weeks of menus!! The lamb is so local you hear them in the barn as you enter. I'm hooked!!

I thought the cheese was a bit expensive (edit, it was £35 per kilo, pretty average for nice cheese), local Shropshire and Caerphilly, but I've just tasted it, and my legs, knees and toes are all excited, delicious

Don't buy the bacon, it's a gateway purchase to losing your waistline, your loot, and any misery you may have. I called in last week to buy 12 rashers of dry cured middle, and staggered out with all manner of delicious things. The open top pork pie is an artifice of depravity, and should be avoided not at all! Try limiting yourself to one a month... just try, I dare you.
In the runup to Crimbo, I must warn all of you that if you buy an open top pork pie, you must not, under any circumstance warm it up in the oven (fan 180C). I'm sat here desperately trying to resist the temptation to go and buy another one. You have been warned!

Great farm shop. Good range of meat of excellent quality. Nice looking pies will have to try them next time.

Quality meat and a range of other products too. For example, their pork & lamb steaks are best I have ever had, & ditto beef steaks! Once you've tried their thick & creamy mayo, you'll never want to look another jar of Hellman's in the face again.

Always outstanding meats and ready-to-cook gourmet food with helpful service and advice: our favourite place for treat food such as duck in cherry and herbs and the best burgers we've ever had, period; zero shrinkage or grease when cooking just top flight beef with great texture and huge flavour. Also suppliers of Tanners Wine Merchant's own label wines which are reliably excellent and complement the meats magnificently. A hidden asset in Leominster-not budget but amazing value for the consistent quality.

An amazing farm shop. The butcher was incredibly helpful and the selection of meats was amazing. Standard joint and cuts along with several marinated variants. All the fruit and veg looked fresh and smelled great. Throw in ciders, jams, pickles, I could have spent a fortune.

We love the Quarry Farm Shop. We wouldn't buy meat anywhere else! Excellent veg, cheese, frozen and wine/ beer selection too. Really a brilliant shop.

So pleased to have found a farm shop within range, which sells meats from animals reared on a satisfactory welfare basis. I have had concern about farm animal welfare for a while & recent documentaries have shown without doubt how some animals bred for supermarkets most certainly have not even had a normal life, let alone a good healthy one. I decided I would only purchase meats from whom I consider to be a reputable butcher, who feels animal welfare is most important.
I trust Quarry Farm and frequent their shop regularly. The little stilton & pickle topped pork pies are wonderful, as are their burgers. The baps they sell are also excellent. Superb coleslaw.
I will enquire about turkey crowns next time I visit.

A very high standard of traditional butchered meats on display. Very fine pork and other pies and some of the best pasites you will ever taste - I think. All is simply and well presented. No money is spent/wasted on flash shop fronting so just look out for the plastic pig directly opposite the Farm Shop.
Pig has moved! Now by shop door, board opp shop - and now back to the opp side of road!

I have been using quarry farm shop for over 25 years , and they must be one of best ever food heroes, friendly service and great produce, never had a complaint

Not cheap but absolutely delicious. We had 2 other prepared chicken dishes.

This farm shop has been a lifeline during Covid 19. Quality products at reasonable prices. Now I have discovered it I will be using it for years to come
