Simply outstanding food. We went mid week on steak night and had the 20oz mixed grill. Just amazing and the chips are something else too. It is a very unassuming pub but the food was exceptional. Definitely recommend for a family meal

Fantastic couple running this pub, an extreamly warm welcome, they made us feel very at home...Super curry and delicious vegan chilli, all very reasonably priced, we will definatly be back next time we are in town, Thankyou!

A great welcome as we walked through the door, and everything set out so we were socially distanced from others!
As we went in early I can't say if it got busy later on but I can confidently say that it would have!! We saw food brought out which looked lovely and the staff were lovely and friendly!

Good local pub, a roaring fire in winter, with nice cider (I don't drink beer but that's good too!) and if you hit Wednesday steak night enjoy! A really good meal with a discount as well and friendly staff and customers, lovely.

We had lovely meal best scamp and chip iv tasted in long time the chips were best if tasted thanks for 2 men at bar who help my disable mum to toilet the staff were very friendly would def go back again

Don't overlook this place, some of the friendliest staff in the village, amazing food and the entire pub feels clean and well maintained. Honestly a gem and I'll definitely be coming back.

I absolutely love going for food and drinks here. It's brilliant for food with friends or to take the kids. Staff are always really friendly. The prices of food and drink are very fair, not over priced. Food is always amazing. This is always the first place we choose to go in town
